 "Pre-post Cruise"
This isn't a traditional lobby-bells-bells-and-whistles hotel, but it was everything we needed. Three blocks from the train and Metro, clean, roomy, nice bath, and a nice breakfast. Federico, the manager, was quite helpful with tourist info and tips. He had a good command of English and had a quick smile. We had a great stay.

 "GOOD VALUE"
The room we had was clean, comfortable and ideal for our purpose. There are no tea or coffee making facilities within the room, so any drinks must be obtained (free) from a machine in the reception area which produces minuscule amounts of hot water and coffee. We had a very noisy family with young boys move in next door on our second night which spoiled our sleep - however this can of course happen at any hotel. However, with no manned reception there was know one to inform. Traffic noise was loud - even on the fourth floor. All in all a good stay apart from above.

 "A little over priced."
Room was clean and tidy, but we felt the hotel was over priced; however, the manager was very nice and offered advice as far as sites and transportation.

"Great cheap hotel in the middle of everything"
My wife and I stayed here for the vacation part of our mixed purpose trip. The staff are pleasant, speak English well, and very accomodating. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast which was much better than any American breakfast I've had. Lots of bread, pastries, high quality lunchmeat and cheese, etc. And excellent espresso, of course. This is a small hotel, almost a B&B, consisting of only one floor of a medium sized building. The security is good. The area appears to be very safe and the hotel is close to Termini. However, my wife and i were able to walk pretty much everywhere (Coliseaum, Pantheon, & many other impt. sites). Access to airport via Termini was simple -- one train.I would go back and / or recommend to my friends.

 "Good base for colosseum"
We stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be a good base for the colosseum, though personally, we would choose to stay near one of the other sites like the Trevi fountain or Pantheon if we went again due to there being more restaurants, piazzas etc. That said, this was a lovely place to stay and the staff were very nice and helpful, particularly on check out day. Finding this place was a little difficult. We got the Leonardo Express train from Fiumicino airport to Termini station, very easy and just 14 Euros. This place is only 5 minutes walk from Termini but the door is quite hidden. It's situated right next to a restaurant with a canape outside so keep your eyes peeled and don't walk for more than 5- 7 minutes from Termini!

Fresh pastries daily and good coffee machine.Room was big and airy. Very clean. Fridge, air con, free wifi, safe.Would definitely recommend.Jacuzzi whirl pool shower wasnt all it was cracked up to be, don't let this be a deal breaker.

 "Great Location"
Very friendly and helpful staff, great location exactly what we required for 2 days sightseeing. Its on the 4th floor but the lift very useful, 5 minute walk to train station and to the tour buses and tourist info stand, very helpful infomation given by them.

"Review of a stay at the hotel"
It is a family run small hotel within a walking distance to the Termini metro station. A convinient location as all - city tour buses, both lines of metros and inter-city trains - run from this station. There are a few good eating out places near the hotel offering a decent quality food for good price. The room was clean with Sky TV (with channels predominantly in Italian apart from the ones airing news). The room also had an air conditioning and fresh towels supplied on a daily basis. We heard that most small hotels in Italy tend to change bath towels every 2-3 days; Le Real was an exception to this. The room was of a decent size, cleaned on a daily basis. Visitors can get a room with twin beds upon request. However, the only problem was the busy street that our room was facing as Rome can be very noisy at night mainly caused by the noise produced by cars, busses and even trams running until midnight and beyond. It gets rather warm and sticky in Rome at night and having an air conditioning on all the time was not an option. We could not have the windows open during the night due to the noise outside. Overall, we rate the hotel highly as the personnel was very friendly and the hotel was clean and conviniently located.

"Great location, decent price, quirky and fun"
The chandelier that turned into a black light was a fun surprise :) The hotel was quaint, had a great location, and the owners were super helpful, gave us info on the city and how to get places and drew us a map right at checkin.

 "Okay but not impressive"
The standard rooms do nok look like the pictures . There's no wifi in the room even though it says so in the description. The breakfast is really not good. White toast bread with plastic wrapped cheese and warm yoghurt. But it is clean and quiet.

 "good hotel"
good hotel with a great location and friendly stuff, it was nice stay in the small apartment, just one thing negative is the lift was very small one person only, and if you have big luggage or baby carriage you have to go and come 2 times or more. breakfast is fare enough but all of food are sweet.

Good location (once we'd found the correct entrance) Clean and reasonable sized room. Breakfast could have been improved on but enjoyed our stay and would use again.

 "excellent b&b"
this hotel is of very good quality. me and my wife stayed for 4 nights on the luxury executive double room. the location was excelent, the room was quiet and the bed was of good quality memory foam. they let you keep the key all the time because there is litle reception service. the only bad thing i would say, is that they only change towels and bed linens once every 3 days. but overall we were very satisfied and would recomend this hotel!

 "11 days in Rome"
I would recommend staying at this hotel and took their business card if I ever return to Rome. It is just a 2 minute walk down the street from Termini station. The owner/staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke english quite well and answered all my questions, provided map of Rome and informed me of various buses needed to get to destinations. The room was very clean and was furnished with a safe and small fridge. There were no dressers so did have to keep folded clothing in suitecase. There was a closet for hanging clothes. The room was small but were in it very little. The beds were very comfortable and molded to your body(memory foam). There was only 1 english T.V. station but you could rent movies from establishment. The breakfast room was very clean. Fresh pastries, cold meat and drinks were available daily(continental breakfast). A grocery store, pharmacy, police station, church, tour office, and laundry mat were all within 2 blocks as well as numerous restaurants. The owners do leave around 2 in the afternoon as it is considered more of a bed and breakfast. The owners post their phone number beside the phone if you need them at any time. I felt very safe staying here as there is a locked door at street level, a locked door on 4th floor(location of B&B) then locked door into your room.

 "I'LL BE BACK"
IT WAS EXCELLENT. The service upon arrival was great. The rooms where clean and the linens fresh. The bathrooms was of good standard and it was lovely to have the modern showers with plenty of hot water. Great location and since the hotel is on the 4'th floor, we felt safe and secure. Good breakfast facilities and overall a great place to stay.
