 "Disappointed"
Me and my girlfriend were expecting only good things from our stay at the hilton. However, when we arrived we were told that a football team were in the hotel and we would have to wait to get into our room. After waiting around, 3 hours after our allocated check in time we were finally given a room. This was completely unacceptable and I was disgusted by the whole ordeal. We were both tired and it was the last thing we wanted after traveling a sizeable distance to get here. When we did finally get in our room there was a distinct smell of body odour and sweat, when we asked for an air freshener we were told they didn't have any. The room had clearly not been cleaned very well either as there was a large amount of hair in the bath and empty shampoo and conditioner bottles found behind the sink. In conclusion, our stay has been overshadowed by our first impressions and the standards were not up to the level expected, we are very disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Liverpool and would not recommend it.

 "Great location and buzzing atmosphere in bar"
First time staying here despite lots of trips up to Liverpool, really enjoyed it. Its in a great location, and had a drink in the bar when we came back and it was still buzzing late at night. Would definitely stay here again.
