"Great Customer Service - Great Location"

The Design hotel was the last of three hotels in Prague we stayed during a trip touring around Czech republic. It is just across the street from the train station and our room had a view of the statues adorning the Luxury Hotel which I am sure was a lot more expensive. A very nice and friendly woman checked us in and gave terrific instructions on the best way to get to Prague Castle. I would certainly choose the Design hotel over the "4 Star" hotels you will find in the sometimes seedy Old town Prague.

"OK"

The hotel is comfortable and clean although the rooms are on the small side and it seems impossible to have a shower without flooding the room. The beds are huge and very comfortable and the bedding feels really nice and fresh. It is a shame that the bar is not open until the evening as it would have been nice to buy a beer when having an early evening business discussion on arrival.The breakfast is not great and the fruit does not look or taste fresh.

"Well designed"

Pros: Well designed. very good location. helpful receptionist. neat and clean. i definitely want to stay there again.
Cons: No laundry service on sundays. no housekeeping available in the evening.

Cons: Although the room looked clean, when you actually had a closer look it was dusty, bed linen was not changed in the four days we stayed, breakfast was not good, especially the eggs

"While the room was small, it was excellently designed and felt much larger"

Pros: While the room was small, it was excellently designed and felt much larger. it was clean, bed was comfortable and had one of the best showers i have experienced in any hotel. staff was friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was very good.
Cons: The room was very warm and it was impossible to turn the heat down lower than about 18 degrees c. we do not like to sleep in a room this warm and consequently had the windows open during the night which led to some noise from the street.

Pros: Breakfast was reasonable, but not amazing.
free wifi was good.
Cons: The room was not ready when we arrived, at 1.45pm. we were told to come back at 2.15pm, even though checkin was 2.00pm.
the room is only tidied each day, the sheets are not changed and the floor is not cleaned. the room was quite dirty by the time we left and we were only there for 3 nights.
one of the windows in our room was actually broken (the glass was broken).

Pros: Staying at 987 design hotel was a very enjoyable experience, it was everything it said on the website. i loved the quirky and elegant design and the location was great. have already recommended it to my friends.
Cons: The hotel was difficult to find, we arrived late and it took a while driving around through the centre of prague. the trouble is, we located the square, however, the hotel is on the other side, outside of the main square, and that was rather confusing.

In the city centre, this Prague hotel is 600 meters from Wenceslas Square and a 5-minute walk from Hlavni Nadrazi station.
