requested quiet room, room was above a busy dual carriage way. unable to keep window open due to noise, but room to hot as no air con.generally decor was very dated, furniture stained, elements of damage not fixed, overall apperance was in need of care and attention.Breakfast was not continental, only bread available was thin, value toasted bread, no rolls etc.. no indivdual pots of jam or yogurts, therefore no choice, but you did have everyones coughs and sneezes on the vats of jam and yogurt!!!! no fresh fruit, only tinned or dried. this was a treat without the kids and yet it was the biggest let down and dissappointment. Definately needs new management, maintance man and chef!!!!when you stay in hotel as bad as it seems you like to take the soap or shower gel, a mento of your stay, at this hotel you didn`t even eat the complimentary biscuits!!!!Also due to the heat in the room overnight, was unable to get cold water from the bathroom tap, so called room service/operator to ask for bottled water or juice to be brought up to be told they only had lager!!! cheers, left dehydratred and with no sleep, and big dent in pocket!!
