O'Shea's Merchant Dublin  

A great place to spend a couple of days exploring Dublin. The rooms were old & basic but very clean, perfect for what I like. The staff was friendly & efficient . The Irish breakfast that came with my room was filling & delicious , keep me going until dinner time. The pub downstairs was great with food & friendly service. It had great live music every night, having said that, that's the only potential problem I can see. If you like an early night you might be bothered by the music.

Location is very good; for me the best, coz to Vicar St, where was Darren Hayes` gig, like 5 minutes to walk!room actually was great too! ))) free tea and coffee, hairdryer, new towels every day.I really didn`t know that breakfasts were included! Can`t say anything about it ))) But latte in Starbucks was goooood ))))Singers in the bar which located downstairs really stop only near 2 a.m. So you need to be a part of one of Temple Bar activities or just stay in number and waching TV (don`t kmow is it working or not, but there was a TV in my room)

I booked the cheap hotel for one night so I could explore Dublin and wasn't expecting much for my money so was over the moon with what I found. The rooms were clean, tea and coffee facilities provided, hairdryer, tv etc. Everything you could want plus breakfast included. I was very pleased.

This Hotel is in a great location and the Staff are very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Stayed two nights, its not really a hotel, it is accomadation above a pub. The carpet in the communal hall to get to the room was bogging and stank. Room smelled musty with no duvet but with overblankets on the bed which a looked a little bit worse for wear. Shower was terrible and was only a dribble, bathroom is very small also. This place is only good for people who wants a bed for the night. Breakfast in the morning was not great continental breakfast consisted og cereal, cheap youghurts, and funny bread looking things that was was tough in packaging. The Full Irish was extremely greasy and the overall quality wasn't good. I felt the staff were not friendly, I wouldn't be staying here again

The hotel is in a werry god position to all atraction for good value,but is nothing for famili because of the bar and yhe noise,good for young people.

friendly staff, good pub downstairs but spacious room little old! noisy bar til late (and I had a quiet room!) breakfast also served a little late at 9am for a week day

Pros: Great location, small but comfortable room which was clean and well-maintained.
Cons: Nothing
