"Could have been perfect"

Globally everything was nice: good beds, clean room. After four days came the time to check out. I don't know what the lady at the office had eaten this day, but she was just rude to everyone. "Hello" without looking at me, when I said I wanted to checkout she took the keys from me and thought we were done without saying anything more. I asked for a place to store my luggage for the day, she nearly threw the keys to the luggage room on the counter then went back the her computer. I could have thought she just didn't like me but I saw her behave like this with everyone one the queue. This is not the worse thing ever, but it spoiled the end of a very nice trip.

"Staying in praag"

It was a nice room with nice temperature in. I always think that the hotel is of no importence because you only sleep there, and this hotel menage to fullfill that task with the pants on!

"Huge rooms"

Stayed at the Bologna for 3 nights and would return again. We stayed in a 4 bedrom suite(304)had its own kitchen, 4 beds dining table chairs really big, very clean.location is between charles bridge and the old town square( 5mins each way) only ate once in the restaurant but was good. Breakfast was not to my taste ham & bread(no english breakfast) Would return again.

"The hotel was in a great location"

Pros: The hotel was in a great location. beds were comfortable. the apartment was spacious. the kitchen was nice to have.
Cons: Very noisy. walls are really thin and all hallway noise could be heard at all times of the night. the room was very warm, but windows had to be closed due to noise. the staff was a bit rude and breakfast was not very good.

"Hotel easy to find, close to all the sights"

Pros: Hotel easy to find, close to all the sights.
Cons: Room wasn't that clean, dirty towels on the floor in bathroom and you can hear everything going on in hallway. lots of noise in the hotel from other guess.

Cons: Bad attitude from staff (impatient towards our request; cut us off and said he has to attend to other guests, gave us a faulty kettle and refuse to replace it with a working one. insisted that we got to find our way to use it)
lousy service from hotel (requested for floor mat to dry our room which was flooded with a big puddle of water due to heavy rain but reception said they would send someone to clean up but they did not come)
insecurity (lights at lift lobby to the rooms and along the room corridors are fucntioned by light sensors which are very insensitive and switch off very quickly. peep hole was useless because room corridor was in total darkness even in the morning.)

Cons: Although we were booked into the residence bologna, we were told when we got there that they had had problems the rooms with somme previous guests and that we would have to go to another hotel, that was owned by the same owner. we were offered a taxi to the new hotel, but had to pay for it ourselves. the second hotel, charles bridge palace has not been finished. the first room we were showed to was in the attic and had no blinds, so we asked for another room. the second roomm was ok, although our room faced an inner quadrangle - which has metal gantries, which the room maids took their trolleys along at 7.30 in the morning, took their mobile phone calls and where young people smoked at night - not very peaceful. breakfast was acceptable. this is supposed to be a 4.5 star hotel, but we felt it had a long way to go before it reached this standard. that said it was situated just off charles bridge, so was in a wonderful location. prague is a wonderful city to explore.

Brilliant value for money, really nice room and breakfast
