 "Great hotel-not-so-great air conditioner"
I stayed at the Bethesda Court Hotel on a visit to the NIH. I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet. The one thing I didn't like about the room was the air conditioner/heater. I was trying to heat the room but it was all or nothing. I couldn't adjust the heat to a comfortable level. I finally turned it down as far as it would go on heat mode and it was still too warm. . When I turned it lower the air conditioner kicked in and started cooling. The air conditioner was very noisy. I'm glad I didn't need it.

 "Nice, charming with a few buts ..."
Nice boutique hotel, no smoking, great service, great location, rooms fine with big TV. Only the shower stall was so very tiny, my husband , who is slim could barely fit, the parking was so tight, my car got pole scrapped and door banged on both sides, and the room with the breakfast food was also difficult because of it's layout & small size. However eating in the back yard was a tree filled treat in this urban neighborhood.Ironically, I might come back, but park elsewhere and eat breakfast out.
