I was impressed with this hotel. The service at the front desk was prompt and helpful and the room was pristine. My one complaint would be with the bathroom in our room. The shower head left a lot to be desired (the water flow seemed to be a choice between a dribble and a pounding stream) and there was no fan for ventilation, though it could be that there was some other form of ventilation going on as the bathroom didn't fog up too much during a hot shower. Your mileage may vary.There's no complimentary continental breakfast, though you can get a hearty omelette or stack of pancakes in the morning for a price. The food was fresh and well-prepared. Certainly better than heading down to a Denny's for breakfast.The hotel is right at the entrance to Port Angeles if you're coming from the east, but it can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention, as it's a fair bit away from the main drag (which, incidentally, is US 101, which loops around the Olympic Peninsula and will take you to any of the entrances to the national park). On the bright side, being located away from the road means there was little ambient noise at night.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It may be a bit pricier than the chain hotels in the area, but I think you'd enjoy the experience much more.
