Super 8 Motel Groton Foxwood

First, the service was very good. The staff was polite and friendly. I needed and extra pillow, I got it. I asked about and iron and ironing board, it was available. We enjoyed the breakfast. We thought the cost was a real value. We enjoyed a quiet undisturbed sleep, in a clean and comfortable room. The 1st complaint is with the motel. We arrived during the tail end of a snow storm Friday March 8th and left Sunday March 10th. The parking lot was not plowed well and was treacherous to walk through. Parking was a nightmare the first night, we almost got stuck in our parking space. When we came back from the casino late that night we had to park very far from the building and walking on the unplowed surface was dangerous. The second complaint was with Easytobook because I specifically asked for a smoking room because my boyfriend smokes. I also asked for a king bed room because me and my boyfriend are fairly large people. When we checked in, the only rooms they had were non-smoking rooms and queen bed rooms. I feel that I was misled. I actually picked Easytobook because you were the only ones that listed a king smoking room. I was upset when I got there because I wanted this weekend get- away to be perfect. Thankfully the staff was so polite and kind that we made the best of it. But I still feel that I was tricked into choosing Easytobook based on what I thought was one thing and turned out to be another. How can I prevent this from happening in the future? I also paid in advance so it wasn't like I had a choice in cancelling the reservation. Because I paid in advance I think that should mean I am guaranteed the room that I asked for, exactly how I asked for it.
