The rooms are appauling, antiquated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The curtains were ripped at the seems, the carpet faded and olfashioned, an old fashioned tube television on an arm wall bracket which went out years ago. Went to the bar for a drink, ordered a pint of Coors Light, had to send it back as it was fflat, ordered another which was also flat, I was disgusted. The breakfast was terrible and the dining area appauling. I asked for a fried egg easy over, it took 15 mins by which time I had findshed the rest of my breakfast and when it arrived it was burned on both sides and was inedible. The waiting staff were totally inexperienced. The girl on reception was atrocious, all round a bad experience and would certainly never stay there again.

Its a no frills hotel but perefect for an overnight stay if heading to a concert or for a night out Rooms were clean but a bit dated .Staff were nice,friendly & helpful. A group of us stayed here as we were heading to concert in the Aviva. The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the Aviva or there is a very good bus service that runs from directly outside hotel. Buses got every 10 mins. Journey takes 5 mins.

Pros: I enjoyed my stay at tara towers. the reason for my visit was to attend an appointment at st. vincents hospital. this is the second time i have stayed here for an appointment and i have found it to be an excellent hotel, friendly staff and good food

Pros: Helpful staff, bar and eating area pleasant to be in and food/breakfast was 0k/good.
Cons: The exterior of the hotel is not that appealing. the room was ok. noticed paint work was peeling and there was an odour in the room that was not very pleasant.

Pros: Check in was fast and easy, everything went to plan, breakfast was enjoyable, hotel was very well situated for our needs.
Cons: Paid for three people in room but towels supplied for two people, there was a broken light fitting in the bathroom and the kettle plug was broken.

Pros: Upgraded to executive room without requesting this. very clean, good breakfast, quiet (even with christmas parties in the hotel). helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Had to wait for room to be made up, even though we arrived 2 hours after earliest check-in time. consequently two small bottles of bulmers at the bar cost us €10!!

Cons: Huge crack in sink, paid for a room for three but condiments only sufficient for two at a push.bath taps worn and very hard to shut off. lifts shabby, only one lift appeared to be working.
