Excellent location for a short break.Limited staff contact was very good although hotel seemed to be set up for business and tour needs. Guest public areas uninspiring as were the bedrooms. The breakfast was 1st class.

As others had written, the beds were a bit hard. The location was perfect: close to Plaza Catalunya with all its airport buses, tourist buses, metro etc. but on the one relative quiet side street. Everything you could want is very close: There were lots of good storage units in the bedroom so we could put our things away (we stayed 5 nights). We did walking trips that started from our hotel and went everywhere. I would definately stay there again. Just know that it is NOT a luxury 5 star hotel--it looks a bit dated.

The Hotel was very central to the City Sights. Was in walking distance of most areas. Hotel room and amenities good. Only disappointing feature : the swimming pool, too small not ehough chairs and no sun.

What a brilliant hotel. Very clean, Everything you need great food, lovely clean rooms, really friendly staff, right in the heart of everything. What else can I say, I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would certainly stay there again. Real value for money.

This hotel has a great location but I was very disappointed with my room. It only had a window which faced internal walls of the hotel covered with a plastic roof so when I opened it there was no fresh air or air circulation whatsoever. The room was very stuffy and the air-con unit did not work as the management did not expect hot days in March!!! I asked for a different room but the hotel was fully booked. In the morning they gave me a 50% discount and I left the hotel.

Pros: Location was the best, otherwise the hotel is more or less three stars and not four.
Cons: I missed my black pair of shoes, size 44 in my room, which i think was 309.
if they find it, can keep it tell i send somebody to collect.

Pros: Excellent location, clean rooms.
Cons: I came back one day to my room to find my door left open! obviously, the house keeping didn't close the door behind them when they left! which is really unacceptable. i go downstairs to the reception and the only answer they give me was "we can't do anything about it. you'll have to wait till the morning, till the house keeping staff are here and then we'll see". honestly i wasn't expecting anything from them but that's such an unprofessional way of dealing with a customer. thank god nothing was stolen but they should've apologized and their attitude should be better. work on your attitude!

Pros: my husband and i had a wonderful 4 nite stay at this hotel, we only booked it the nite before and much to our delight we were upgraded free of charge on arrivel to a suite,we were always greeted by friendly staff both at reception and at breakfast,the food was good and planty of it, we only had 1 complaint and that was the drinks at the bar were very expensive..we would stay again...dublin ireland...

Cons: Could only be offer poorly located rooms for the first night, but they moved us to superior rooms for the rest of the stay. situation was handled efficiently and well.
