Overall very pleased with this hotel very clean, friendly, and helpful staff .Saunas were single sex and in the changing rooms so could not sauna with my wife, would have been good to be aware of this from the web site. Jacuzzi would have been nice after lots of walking around Barcelona for those aching muscles. Perfect location for the fountains, main area of Barcelona is a underground trip away. Tube station Plaza de Espana is within easy walk from hotel,10 ticket package is good value. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Rooms good size.

Everything was great, you haven't lived until you use that shower.... Only concern was the speed of the internet. The service was good. Unfortunate Breakfast was terrible because I am a vegetarian. I recommend this hotel, but don't buy breakfast if your a vegetarian.

Hotel was really clean, staff were friendly. Room was lovely, we enjoyed our stay very much.It was close to everything we needed and taxis were waiting outside the hotel so when we were ready to go to the airport we didn't have to wait. Didn't eat breakfast but it looked busy in the restaurant. Didn't use the wifi either so can't comment. All in all it was a lovely break. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.After a long days drive and strenous drive into Barcelona it was a wonderful relief to walk into the foyer.Very helpful and pleasant staff,great service, and large choice if breakfast.Definitely would stay again.

Excellent breakfast5 and very comfortable room. Close to fountains with light show. Lot of small restaurants in area. Easy walk from airport bus

Easy to find from Airport. Excellent check in, staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very good, massive comfortable bed.15 minute walk from Ramblas.Breakfast is expensive compared to local cafes/bars.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on a short city break. Although we loved Barcelona, and the hotel it'self was very nice, good breakfast - plenty to choose from. However, the pool was one area we were looking forward to using, in between our hectic tours of the city. We both felt this area badly lets down the hotel. And looks nothing at all like the picture on the internet, we actually only stayed in it for 5mns, not very clean and the changing area was not good either, very basic, in comparison the the rest of the hotel. Also reception staff at pool gave my husband towels, and no keys for the lockers, he had to go back up again for keys and not very professional attitude made me feel quite uncomfortable really. We actually only booked this hotel as it advertised a pool but felt a bit cheated by it to say the least. I would recommend the hotel and it's position, but not the pool if that is a requirement. However, I'm sure the prices reflect the fact that there is a pool/sauna on offer! having experienced this now, I'm afraid we would not go back to this hotel.

rooms were quite spacious and comfortable .we have a blind and autistic teenager with us and booked this hotel because of the piano bar and pool with waterfalls .However both were not working we were told piano was only played in the summer and the water spouts were only on once during our five day stay . We had breakfast once which was quite good but afterwards were told drinks ie. juice and tea were extra ! My sons bed was never made up and we had to keep asking for the bedding back !The hotel is a good ten to fifteen minute walk to the nearest metro station and is not near any shops or cafes etc .

We loved the gym area and swimming poolWe have had a disagreement with a couple of very noisy people at night but the reception and security services have managed this problem with great efficiencyWe have had a bonus according to this problem

Cons: We stayed on the 3rd floor and as you exit thru the doors to get on the elevator there are two gold bars that stick out directly above the door. my husband who is 6'6" hit his head on the bar and became really disoriented for a while. dangerous............
