Cons: The suite we booked was not available due to building work. we were downgraded to a premium room, and yet the price charged was almost the same. no swimming pool, sauna, rooftop terrace, bar nor complete gym due to building work. we were advised of this 4 days before we arrived by which time it was too late to book an alternative hotel. very annoyed and hotel was relatively unconcerned.
Cons: I had paid for a superior room but got a standard room. tranferred to better room after complaint but no compensation for two rooms in standard room. very disappointed for this. will probably not come back to axel hotels.
Cons: Hotel was under refurbishment during my stay which meant that the pool and sky bar were closed, and building work started at 8am every day!

non-manned sport area, and was closed before official time
Cons: Value for money was bad most usuall facilities had to be paid for sperately as well as breakfast and an over priced room
Cons: I missed not having coffee making facilities in the room and there were a couple of times we felt the jacuzzi could have done with a clean.
