 "Rome, Hotel NH Villa Carpegna"
Excellent hotel. Very good value. Room good sized, very clean. No noise from other rooms. Breakfast good. Pool great – complementary towels. Plenty of sunbeds. Fitness room, with weights and treadmills is good. Reception staff very helpful . Bus stop to centre 5 min walk. St Peters only few min away by bus. Taxi cost 15 euros from Termini or around 10 euros from centre. We will definitely stay again and will recommend it to friends and family. However the pool is only open June, July and August, which is a shame. Might choose hotel nearer centre of Rome for visits in Apr, May, Sep or Oct.

Cons: You have mentioned there is only 500 meters from metro station to hotel but this is not true and the first day we arrived in rome we had so much problem to find the location.you should correct your information please!

Pros: The swimming pool was a bonus after walking around the sights all day it was nice to chillout for a while here.
Cons: It was fairly close to the vatican but a little out of the way from the other sights of rome

Cons: The location of the hotel is not a desirable one. it is not a pleasant walk to any of rome's attractions.
