"Great hotel"

Really really comfy beds, we couldn't get up! The pool was not heated and far too cold to use in April despite it being 20C :( disappointing. But great location and very helpful staff. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

"Comfortable clean well localised but be careful of the noise of the fiesta around"

Good localisation to visit Barcelona, except that there were a very noisy fiesta on the square beside the last of the 3 nights I spent, by AUG 14, until 2.30 am. Deppite I am not very susceptible to noise, I could hardly sleep due to the sound reverbarating on the window glass of my room. Perhaps its better to avoid rooms on the street.Perhaps thay could have warned people and offer them ear plugs.Ils a pity as the hotel is not responsible for that and otherwise there is not much to say. People are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is good. The swimming pool is more like a big zacuzi but I was not interested anyhow.

"Great place to stay while visiting Barcelona..."

Excellent place and this is the second time I am staying there.Hotel staff is friendly and very useful. Great locaton in the heart of the old city and yet close to taxi stands and metro stops.Myriad of shops and restaurants await you when you set foot outside. Hightly recommend this place.

"Fantastic location, right in the middle of the old city"

Pros: Fantastic location, right in the middle of the old city. great, friendly staff, very cool lobby, and a great rooftop pool.
Cons: If i have to pick something, it's that the only free internet is by using the hotel's computers in the business center, even though i remember reading there would be free wifi in the lobby.

"Staff was very courteous and helpful"

Pros: Staff was very courteous and helpful. location was excellent. clean rooms.
Cons: Noise from renovation of the pool area on roof. we were on the floor below. the noise, however, was minimal and during the day when we were out. mattresses were hard and uncomfortable.

Pros: Perfect location for a city break. guests are provided with bikes with no extra charge so as to better explore the city.

Cons: No air conditioning as not summer as yet, so room was very warm. as we had to open the room windows, the nights were very noisy

"The room was very spacious and so clean"

Pros: The room was very spacious and so clean. the facilities were excellent. we arrived 3 hours before the stated check in and our room was ready so we were allowed to check in early.
Cons: The restaurant only opened from midday to 5/6pm and from that time only bar food was served. very poor selection of beverages at the bar.

"The breakfast was excellent including the presentation"

Pros: The breakfast was excellent including the presentation. the situation of the hotel in the city was excellent. the staff were very helpful.
Cons: When we booked in the receptionist gave us the full price of our stay, which we thought was helpful so we would know how much money we had left to spend, but when we checked out however this price did not include the tax. this could have been very inconvenient and embarrasing, luckily we had not spent all our money and had enough left.
