 "Wonderful new hotel in Manhattan's business area"
The Conrad is a new facility, open only about 5 months ago. For business in the financial section of downtown it is the best location, otherwise one needs to use transportation to get to mid- and uptown. Beautifully situated facing Battery Park City, it is of the highest standard, magnificent architecturally, extremely comfortable, with attention to the most minute details (they even have Nespresso machines in each room). Service is efficient and friendly. The only part that needs improvement is the Business Center: very restricted computers that need to be more accessible and effective. Generally speaking: I think hotels on such a level should offer free internet access everywhere; yes, they might add a bit to the price, but the customer will definitely feel better and be less negative about the stay in general ($15 per 24 hours is upsetting, no matter how much money you have).

Wonderful new hotel in Manhattan's business area

Conrad New York goes a long way to earn its 5-star rating. There are loads of rooms here, giving you a great deal of choice. New York Mercantile Exchange is a landmark close to this accommodation; Ground Zero and National September 11 Memorial are nearby as well. Easily reached from here, Wall street and Battery Park are sure to leave a good memory. An entertaining option in the near vicinity, Victorian Gardens is worth a visit. Particularly of interest if you like museums are Guggenheim Museum and Soho Photo Gallery.

Conrad New York has a combination of public and private spaces, which include a restaurant, a coffee shop/café and an exhibit space. Not only is a luggage storage offered, but also a late check-out option and the possibility for computer rental. When you cannnot escape working during your stay, comfort lies in the fact there there are well equipped rooms for your meetings here. Especially convenient for business guests is the presence of a conference space and a business center in addition to an audio-visual equipment set. You're also welcome to bring 2 pets with you. In total, there are 463 rooms here.

Air conditioning is just one of the advantages in Conrad New York. For those of us who enjoy convenience, a wake-up service and a daily housekeeping service are included in the rooms of the accommodation. You can use the Internet via wireless high-speed Internet access (surcharge). A hypo-allergenic bedding set (upon request), a pillowtop mattress and a Signature bedding set will make your nights a pleasure when staying here.
