Hotel L'Alguer Barcelona  

Voors: Rustig gelegen hotel op 10 min. van camp nou, dus uitermate geschikt als u een wedstrijd van fc barcelona wilt bezoeken. eenvoudig maar alles mooi schoon en opgeruimd. vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Tegens: Geen negatieve ervaring.

Voors: - goede locatie voor het bezoeken van een wedstrijd van f.c. barcelona. het hotel ligt 600 meter van camp nou.
- goede service voor deze prijs. elke dag maken ze de kamer schoon en 24 uur per dag iemand bij de receptie aanwezig. is niet altijd het geval in de kleinere hotels.
- metro station op 300 m. vanaf daar 10 min met de metro en je bent midden in het centrum.

It was a nice hotel with good location near to the metro. The walls were very thin so we heard every noise which was very embarrassing during the early hours.

Pros: Room basic but clean. close to camp nou. staff very helpful

Cons: my husband had booked the room for me and my brother by his visa card and he was not staying in the hotel himself. the hotel staff asked us to bring a copy of the both side of the visa card and a copy of my husbands id card and a letter from him that he has done the booking for us. on the other hand the hotel had already taken the room charge from the visa card. i wondered if the hotel has already taken the money why they would bother us to bring all the copys and the letter. if they believe that the visa card is not ours and we want to cheat why they took the money from the visa card which would be illigal to take money from a stolen visa card ( which of course was not the case and it was my husbands visa card) any way it was a little irritating to bring all those papers when the hotel has already taken the money.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Do not dusturb means "do not disturb". i didnt want hotel staff entering the room at any time, but they kept doing it after i asked three times that they please do not.

Pros: The hotel is set in quiet a residential area, this was great for us as it was a family trip. the journey to and from is ok but it was a bit of a slog for my mother as she has arthritis in her legs. the hotel staff are really friendly and we were given a map of the city and of the area surrounding the hotel. their english was good too. our room was spotless and fresh linen was provided every day. since breakfast is not included we chose to eat in the surrounding cafes - of which there are many - but it is slightly more difficult to communicate here as it is not very touristy and their english wasn't great. my mum loved this element as she felt that it was more authentic. the hotel is about 15-20mins on the metro and just round the corner from the collblanc metro station - handy after a day of
Cons: The only negative thing i would say is that the directions to the hotel on the website aren't that great and we had to ask at a cafe. also the distance from the city centre does hinder you as you can't just nip back to the hotel to freshen up.

Pros: Hotel, is not actually a hotel as such, more of a hotel like feel, there are not tea/coffee making facilities which was disappointing, however, the staff, location, and cleanliness of tge room where all excellent. hotel could use some modernising as it appeared quite old and run down, on the plus side, location was excellent, with services for everything close by.i would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
