 "Pink rules!"
Great location and very good service however the buffet food was lacking especially in the evenings. My only issue was with the small and slow elevator - very challenging when eeveryone was checking out of the hotel at the same time - tool almost 30 minutes to finally get the elevator to stop on our floor - without it alreaydy being filled with people and luggage.Also wish there was somewhere to put my open suitcase for the couple of nights I was there pre-cruise - there was no need to unpack but I had to 'balance' my large suitcase on a night table to be able to access my stuff!If was a good value however and I would stay there again and would recommend it to others due to the excellent and convenient location.

 "great location, but bring the address"
Very close to subway at Plaza Catalunya, but sign says only "hotel" and you have to go up the elevator. Very helpful staff, English clear, and I had quiet inside room. I enjoyed the food at the free buffet, which is more than sufficient - 24 hrs, free beer and wine! Perfect location and great value.

 "Rivoli Ramblas"
Overall the hotel was very good. We had a room overlooking the Ramblas and it was quite noisy with all that went on throughout the night.Quality of breakfast could be improved; nothing was done to keep the hot food hot.I would however recommend the hotel to friends.

 "Home away from home"
We were recived with a great welcome and taken to our room which was ample for what we needed, the hotel was in a great location and in a very old building which added to its charm. Breakfast was good and an added bonus was the all day buffet which was good with wine and beer on tap. We had a great bed that made us sleep like we were in our own bed which is very unusual for a hotel altogether a great hotel which we will stay in again

Pros: The staff was very helpful and assisted us whenever necessary.when we left the hotel on the morning of sept.29(the day of the general strike and protests) there were numerous disruptions on the street outside of the hotel,but with the help and guidance of a hotel employee we were able to obtain a taxi and leave for the airport for a safe departure.we thank them for their kindness.

 "The hotel was very conveniently placed on the ramblas"
Pros: The hotel was very conveniently placed on the ramblas. the hotel staff were helpful. the breakfast, included in the deal, was varied and, apart from the scrambled eggs, was very good. the rooms booked were of a good size and with spacious bathrooms.
Cons: A little dated - could do with a re-furb perhaps, but still comfortable enough
