MEININGER Hotel Frankfurt/Main Airport  

friendly and efficient staff, even made some light jokes. i felt comfortable and the distance to the train station was close but i don't think you can walk - i took a cab at night 7 eur, and the hotel bus back 3 eur. the room was not large but it was ample and very comfortable, i slept well and there was no noise - planes are on other side of airport buildings (you can see buildings from window). seeing the signs on the busses i may have overpaid by 10 eur but the price is lower than the other local hotels, and frankly it looks more modern and clean, and it's a solid building (ie soundproof).

Dear Sir / Madam,Whilst the hotel was convenient and well located to the Frankfurt International Airport, the shuttle bus service was inadequate. We arrived at 10:30pm and your shuttle service only runs until 11:00pm. Also, the directions as to where to find this shuttle bus was poor, because it took us, together with other passengers on the same train, approximately 20 minutes to get from the Airport to the actual pickup location.I would like to thank the Driver of that last shuttle bus (on Friday, 6th April) for being patient and for collecting us after 11:00pm despite having so many passengers to take to the hotel. There was just no way all of us could fit into this bus, and it was his last pickup. This Driver made an extra trip to accommodate us and others. We already thanked him, but it would be nice if this Hotel can recognise his efforts.If you have a shuttle service, it should run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Regards,Greg.
