Pros: The hotel is located very close to the rialto bridge which is very convenient when travelling by vaporetto. the rooms are clean.
Cons: The hotel is advertised as being "fully air conditioned". this is quite a stretch. there are technically air conditioners in every room, but they barely work. venice is very hot and humid, and an air conditioner is absolutely necessary for sleeping purposes. my husband and i barely got sleep the two nights we stayed there as we were covered in sweat. when asked if they could take a look at the air conditioning, they said it was fine. word of warning: when booking your room, request a room on a lower floor. as we all know, hot air rises, and it just gets stickier with each flight of stairs you climb.
