Bed & Breakfast Il Pallino di Arianna Venice  

First day on arrival the landlord looked a very nice person. 20 minutes once i had met him he had said to me you will have too pay me tax of 30 euros which i thought was all included and then he said to me can you pay me the hotel charges in euros. I said to him I thought i have paid you by card from UK. He was a strange man. A coupleof days after i forgot to switch off the air conditioning in myroom in my room aswell as the lighs and also i was told that once I have breakfast i do not need to clean up and that someone else will clean up however i was not told the time when the lady was coming to clean up so i left the breakfast table untidy thinking someone will clean it up, and guess what, whilst i went out in the evening to celebrate my wifes 50th birthday (my reason for going there) the landlord rings up and starte shouting on the phone that I left hte lights on AC on and the breakfast table untidy. I apologised to him and asked him to calm down as i felt embarassed asI was having a meal with my wife and friends.He carried on shouting at me. I once again said I am sorry and i did not realise that I had to clean the breakfast table. But he wouldnt have it. He STILL went on shouting so i calmed him down. Guess what, next morning he was there at 10 past 8 in the morning waking me up wanting to have a go at me AGAIN about tha AC and the lights. I told him if yuou want to spoil myholidays you already have! You need to act like an adults. But I ahve spent lots of moeney to come to venice and i am very disappointed with your childish attitude, And for the breakfast, for 2 days, he barely left me anthing to eat. I just found him a miserable, tight and senseless person. The onlygood thing was the location. PLEASE be careful!! This man is a DISGRACE to the civil citizens of Venice. He was just worried about his bills and not about my enjoyment and relaxation in the BB. He was not interested in customer satisfaction.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Unclean room, slow drain shower, cheap italian sub rolls provided for breakfast, broken front door, non working tv.
bath was private but outside of the room.

Pros: Cleanliness and position, and the modern bathroom, and meeting us at the water bus stop
Cons: More of a breakfast choice would have been better - even just a cereal.
