I stayed in a single room here, it was small as you'd expect but good value. The tram stop is a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel and the number 25 tram takes you right to the heart of Amsterdam in 10 minutes. Take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. I'm a female and was there alone and felt safe. I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for a budget, basic hotel.

This hotel has helpful staff who make you very welcome.Room was comfortable & there seemed little noise which aided restful sleep. It is slightly out of the centre but trams stop almost outside the hotel. The Albert Cuyp Market & Sarphati Park are really close There are numerous restaurants & bars in the area, which seemed safe & pleasant even late at night.

We have booked a family room, for me, my boyfriend and his sister and our expectations was not approved. the pictures on the website were not corresponding with the real room. but actually the room has been cleaned every day, location not really bad, a good connection with the tram and in 15 minutes walk from the museums. But I definitely will not book the room in this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel and I was very surprised by the quality of the rooms: they're really cheap for the money we spent!Workers were really kind, their English was perfect and we never had problems.We were in a triple room, spending about 28€/night per person.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, the room compact and basic. It's quite a walk to town but the trams are easily accessible. A better hotel for young couples and parties rather than families

Most of the hotels is small in amsterdam. Went there just for one day and one night. It is very nice stay for the money you pay. I liked and 8 think I will use it again as it is close from there to van gogh museum and heineken experience building too. Beer cost 9 euros per 2 pints. Same price you will pay for double JD and coce. It is nice to have drink there any way. ..

This hotel was the last of our 6 month trip and by far was the worst and one of the most expensive. The staff were not helpful and never offered any information about the city. The room was so small that we could not fit both our bags in the room and walk to the tiny bathroom. The location was 15- 20 mins from the city by tram on a good day no where near as close as they stated on their website. Nothing about my 3 night stay here was good! I would never stay here again or recommend it to my worst enemy.

Our stay at Aalborg hotel was good, the hotel IS located not too far away from central in the nice area of Amsterdam. Everything was okay the only thing was we didn't like was that the mattress was too soft, therefore was difficult to fall asleep.

i enjoy my stay in Alboorg hotel, it's very clean hotel with a very kind and professional employees. It's also very near of centrum with a wonderfull and greay breakfast. This hotel is very nice and i recommanded it to every body

No issues with this hotel. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. It's in a great location and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted from there.

but a very noisy place. unfortunately, we got rooms with street-view, which hardly allows to sleep. single-rooms very tiny, but clean.it's all about location for people that want to expire the city.

Tiny room and bathroom: you almost had to step on the bed to open the closet. Not really in the center. 4% charge for using credit cards and they ask you to pay at arriving (which is not previously warned). Choose it as a last resort.

This hotel is a two star hotel rated and priced as a three star hotel. The high price is set due to lack of hotels in Amsterdam.105€/night for a double room (really small one) is not ok for a room with mold stains in the bathroom.There is nothing wrong with this hotel in general. Friendly staff, good service, very close to the trams and even free wi-fi.It simply doesn't justify its high price.

The staff were friendly and hotel clean. On the whole had a good stay. I booked the "Non refundable single room". The only problem I had was with the shower which was in a bath with a very small footprint and which sloped towards the drain. It was very difficult to stand up in. An elderly person would have found it impossible. How long have they had this hotel but unwilling to go to the expense of replacing this? It would hardly break the bank. Lucky I was only there 2 nights. If I was being unkind I would say they had installed a shower in the bidet......

A pleasant stay on a nice hotel. the staff were very helpfull and the rooms were clean. can only recommend it for other people. The location of the hotel is OK. because the trams stop few meters from the hotel. and the only take 10 min to central station.

me and my partner stayed at Aalborg hotel. the staff were more than helpful and the area was beautiful. the only down side was there was a school opposite our window and you could hear the children in the morning, but it was all made up for with the comfort of the bed and lovely breakfast. we Will be returning!
