 "Fantastic romantic stay in Venice"
We got upgraded to the upper suite, which was huge and had a big bath tub. Also had an outside patio on the roof. We were lucky to get upgraded to the better room as the other standard rooms opened out into the breakfast room. I would recommend the upper suite if you want a romantic stay. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor and wasnt too hard to find from the hotel instructions on their website. They have another section of their hotel on another street but I cannot comment on that side as we never went there. Over all we are very satisfied with the upper suite we were upgraded too. Dont think we would have been happy with the standard rooms next to the breakfast area though.

Pros: We booked 2 junior suites with canal view for us and our friends. they were stunning. i have stayed in venice many times but this location ticked every box.

 "Good location"
Pros: Good location.
Cons: We got a room in the "annex" -- which is right on the canal. as a consequence, there was an unusually high amount of noise -- especially at night. the walls of the rooms are paper-thin, to boot. another disappointment -- the coffee served at breakfast tasted as if it was instant! how is that defensible if you are an italian hotel?!?

Cons: They moved us into a different hotel, not the one advertised. they marched us in the rain to some random alley, not what we paid for.
