 "Excellent Hotel near Gare de l'Est - perfect for short city trip"
Very cute hotel with nice service. It's perfect if you're arriving in Paris by train for a short city trip. The rooms were very nice and we can also recommend the food. Definitely better than a 3-Star-hotel!

 "Average Hotel .... but nearly better than that"
I liked the layout of the hotel and rooms. We stayed over Xmas and considering the period, the staff were very nice and professional.The rooms look nice and there was a seperate bathroom and WC. The shower and bathroom facilities are excellent. Just two gripes however. The noise levels in the rooms are unacceptable. One expects some outside noise from the city location but we could hear every word spoken in the room next door. From above, the toilet flushing actually sounded as if it was flushing down the cavity of our bedroom wall and woke us on several occasions. The other slight issue is that the image used to promote the hotel is one of the canal front. The hotel is not located on the front but down a side street.
