The Salisbury Hotel was a superb location. The rooms were large and roomy, but in need of a lick of paint. Poor service and no facilities as such. Poor all round. Like I said, the best was the location.

 "generally pleasant place to stay"
The rooms are clean, very spacious and pleasant. I like the old ambience. The lobby is less attractive and could easily be brightened up and more comfortable for little money. The staff seemed depressed, some dour, and sometimes not keen to be of service, ( when there was no heat I called and had to phone back an hour later, finally someone said sorry, no heat tonight.) I'd stay again for the location and the clean and generous rooms.
