"reasonably nice"

Stayed for 3 nights in August, shower was broken, but fixed immediately after complaint, breakfast was quite basic, bed was fantastic - I had one of my best sleeps ever :), just two hangers in the wardrobe, no english speaking channels in telly, staff helpful, good public transport connection to the city centre, but still walkable as well.

"Good accommodation in Trastevere - Rome"

Good Hotel in a convenient area.Nice staff. Nice bar on the top roof terrace. Close to Trastevere.The pricing was good. International crowd. The SPA seems nice even if not used.

Cons: Breakfast wasn't great .
the impression on the web-site is that the spa is available without charge....this is not the case ...you have to pay ..for what is a private session of the spa.

Pros: Rooms were good size for rome with nice decor and very clean. the family room was excellent with 2 superior rooms adjoined by a corridor with access through a security door allowing both superior room doors to be left ajar. this is
excellent for parents who want a little privacy but are also conscious of chilren's safety. staff were excellent and very helpful. breakfast was very good and provided for everybody which included the vegetarian members of our family.
i would definately return to this hotel and would recommend to friends.despite the hotel not being in central rome, trastevre is only 5 short tram stops to the centre of rome main attractions with overall travelling time of 10 mins. trams and buses are accessible across the street via a traffic crossing. recommend central trastevre at night for great restaurants and culture. be sure to barter with the market sellers and established souvenier shops as discount will be given.

Pros: Our stay at trilussa palace was great. the staff are very helpful and frendly and the roof garden bar has beautiful views. the rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated, check out the funky showers! the gym is small but well equiped, very clean and modern. the breakfast buffet had everything you could want, all very nicely presented. a gentleman there greeted us every morning with great warmt. thanks for a lovely recommendation.

Cons: Rooms are a lot smaller than they look, on the website,the sink in our shower room was,nt working properly and no mirror above the dressing table, also there were no drawers what so ever to put anyting in, no kettle with tea or coffee facilities

Pros: Very friendly, mulitlingual staff. quiet room. comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: The room i booked on lastminute.com was at least £100 more expensive than the same style of room booked by another guest. the tiling in the bathroom next to the shower was missing (room 713).

"No issues with our booking"

Pros: No issues with our booking. we got there and everything was in order. the hotel staff were helpful. the hotel looked nice and was clean. sometimes website images vs realty normally is different, but in this case the images were accurate. the hotel is in a quiter place of trastevere, but with just 2 stops in tram 8 you can get right into the heart of trastevere and from there on everything is close by. we stayed here and hardly spent on travel other than the 1euro tram tickets... good location. i tried the spa as well and this was nice too.
Cons: Dont expect this to be the busiest area and for the first day we were not sure we made the right choice in location. but once you realise how close you are to the busy life, things seemed better. rates could have been slightly lowered.
