Cons: Definitely did not get the 'penthouse suite' that we had payed for and was sssooooo small. definitely was not worth the ~$200 that was payed after the tax and all. a motel would have been more pleasureable.
Cons: I had two major complaints about the hotel. first the ice machine on the 3rd and 5th floor were both broken and the second was the amount of noise able to come from the outside into my room. the loudest and most startling was the constant closing and opening of other people's hotel doors which could be extremely loud, especially when i was trying to fall asleep. i could also hear someone screaming into their cell phone in the hallway. the other noises were mainly firetrucks passing by which happened at least 3 times a day. the hotel room was nice but there were a few scratches and dents in the door. also it was very difficult to plug in my cell phone chargers because the power strip they had was connected to the back leg of the table facing the wall.
Why not eat at one of the 3 restaurants at The Pickwick Hotel. Extra areas here make your stay more convenient; you can find a bar/lounge here, for example.
