Hotel Felice Rome    

The room was basic but clean.The hotel was somewhat noisy.The shared toilet rapidly became dirty due to number of rooms sharing.Breakfast was not served in the room, but in a local cafe.Upon arrival I was immediately told that the room was cash only and that I could pay immediately if I wished.No English Channel.Having said this it was fine as a place to sleep and freshen up, but little more.The staff were friendly.

This is the only place I've stayed at in Rome, so I cannot compare quality/price with others in that city. I stayed with 3 friends for one night and the hotel met our basic needs- a place to stay with a hot shower (private bathroom), free wi-fi, and were able to hold our bags for us (the room we had was kind of dark and rather small). It also included breakfast, which was kind of a joke b/c it just was a cup of coffee at a nearby cafe, and we were not able to get it b/c we were 30 minutes late. The staff were very friendly, but I suspect someone with no Italian skills would have found it very difficult to communicate. The person who checked us in spoke very little English and was incredibly SLOW at checking us in. We were SO tired but it took him about 20-30 minutes to write down all of our passports info. He made it up though with his willingness to help us navigate Rome and point out the "must-sees" in the so little time we had. Overall a good experience for friends.

Hotel felice is a charming little hotel . It was clean and the room where exactly what you needed for Rome as you are out discovering the city most of the day .The staff were very helpful and friendly . The hotel has a beautiful terrace which is lovley in the morning or afternoon for sitting out and relaxing . The free wifi was great .The rooms were clean and basic , just note that a standard room has no bathroom just a sink in the room . There is a shower and bathroom down the hall which works out ok , just means they aren't always avail ( was there 4 days and had very little problem with it)Beds were made each day and new towels every second day . Felt very safe in hotel and surrounding area and lot of cafe , shops and restaurants around. My only negative points are the check out on sunday is 10 am normally 12 but cleaniers finish up early that day and that the distance from the termini is longer than suggested so be aware of that . It's a 10/ 15 minute walk to where all the buses and the metro go from . We ended up getting taxi's up and back which were around €6/8 each way .

We stay for the first time in Rome in this good hotel and we were satisfied! The hotel was close to the Termini train station and close to the 71 bus stop. Marco and Simona at the reception were perfect, friendly and very helpfull. The Felice was in a good location(San Lorenzo area), good night life zone and good restaurant area.Our room was basic and was clean every day. We return next year in May. Thanks!

A modest hotel, but clean, reasonably-priced, good value for money, good staff, within walking distance of the centre. Light breakfast provided in two adjacent cafes, which I liked. Pleasant staff that I met, but not all spoke English.

The cost is quite reasonable. The hotel is a bit far from the Rome Termini station, but it is a lot of fun to walk along the wall of the ancient fortress. The streets and shops around the hotel are OK.Since the hotel is very near the University of Rome, Sapienza, the region is safe and quite.

Pros: Staff was good, cleaning lady folded dirty clothes took care of the room went above expectations. was robbed in london hotel let us pay two days after checking in until we got money from back home. staff was helpful when they understand you english is very limited. staff gets a solid 5 on a scale of 1 to 5 but location gets a negative 5. good for younger people but if your a family pay the extra money for a better location.
Cons: Only one person spoke english that worked at the hotel. the older gentlemen that worked the night shift/ day shift speak only italian so communications was tuff a bit but they are very nice. the location of the hotel is not ideal. our party walked all over and coming in at night its kind of sketchy... wouldn't walk alone. the website says you get free wifi but in fact you get an access code for one person and it really doesn't work in the room.you can only use it on one device if used by two people it wont work anymore then you are required to buy another one from staff at 10 euros for each card. would i stay at this place again?? if i didn't have to i wouldn't.. but we got to see another side of the city. if you take a taxi to the hotel from the train station it should be no more then 6 euros. make sure they turn on the meter and its running and working. dont let them fool you!

Cons: It may have been my fault in reading the descriptions, but the shared bathroom came as a surprise. not a big problem in practice.

Cons: I learned that in a supposedly 3 star hotel (never ever this is 3 stars), if you rent a basic room instead of a standard room, that means, no bathroom or shower in your room. what? the breakfast included is a coffee and croisant at bar across the street (they give you a coupon). but the man at night, really rude (the one the next morning, a normally nice person). i speak italian, and he tried to convince me that basic room in english means no bathroom. in general, very basic hotel, probably one star if much, and it is not so close to termini. if you have bags, you have to take a taxi, because it is several blocks to get there. i mean, was cheap. but if you think you are really getting a 3 star for 70 euros, you are as dumb as me.

Cons: Noisy - locks of the door would "bang" every time anyone closes it plus half of the rooms is to the busy mainroad...

Cons: Not all the rooms are en suite. this fact could inadvertently have been overlooked during the booking process; a room without private facilities would not have been a comfortable experience.

Pros: Beds comfortable and clean. close to bus route.
Cons: Only 2 toilet/showers for 14 rooms. very little english spoken. not safe to walk from train station to hotel at night but buses easy to use and very cheap to get back and forward to hotel.
