As always great stay. This hotel isn't close to the Rome sites but a short walk to cornelia or a short bus ride and you are at the Metro where you can venture out to the sights of Rome. I have been there frequently so I have also learned how to take the buses but the Metro is faster and a city day pass is only 6 Euros. The breakfast is ok too much pastries and sweets but the cereal and breads with the cappuchino and juices make up for it. The rooms are pretty good. This trip though we had a room that was great nice balcony quiet but the room was freezing found out that the seal on the window in the bathroom wasn't sealing all the way so a cold blast of air came through all night and all day. Friends that live in Rome gave us a portable heater which solved the problem made the hotel aware of it and since they are renovating the hotel I'm sure we got one of the rooms they haven't completed. Normally this is a very quiet hotel but as I said they are working to renovate the hotel which it looks great what they have done but the construction noise at 7am wasn't so great. The wireless internet sucks in the rooms not sure if they have added that to their renovation or not but the only place that we could get ok internet was in the lobby. But the staff as always were very friendly and very helpful! And the price was very well suited for the traveler looking to not spend a fortune in Rome which is easy to do.

Good bits:Good reception, nice and helpfull. Fitness first next door,so you got gym and sauna free for hotel customers. Free parking, -(most places charge you ...and a lot). Nice terrace on the roof where you can have a drink or food or suntan.Locations isnt bad as others says, they probably never been in the citys like London.To Vatican 4 stops by bus + 4 stops by underground (metro). tolal around 35 min. Not so good bits:Rooms needs refurbishing, walls dirty. Conditioner did not work,so didn't have heating and was a bit cold to sleep at night. Noise of the road, cause windows are wooden and old (some holes),definetly needs replacing.Tips for Rome visitors:Normaly open roof bus tour (unlimited 24h) cost around (20eur). public transport tickets are quite cheap. It's 1 euro for 75min or something. So this ticket is valid for buses, metro and trams for 75 minutes. I think you can buy public transport ticket unlimited for 3 days for 12 euros or something,so its cheap.I recomend this link here: http://www.terravision.eu/orpnet_bus_rome.html?IDb=IDI&IDp=IEits cheapest deal you can get. Only 25euros! you get unlimited use ticket for open bus tour with "cristiana" and all public transport for 3 days. Enjoy Romea wonderfull city! :)

Pros: The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. the rooms were ok see below for explanation. the staff was always willing to help us when we had questions or needed anything. i would stay here again. the area was in what seemed to be a nice area of rome i never felt unsafe.
Cons: The hotel is going through major renovations currently so the rooms that we stayed in were not completed. there were unfinished wiring showing, no refrigerators in the rooms yet or door knobs on the closet doors. i would have expected more of a discount just due to this fact because the room was unfinished. there was construction noise during the daytime. if i wasn't staying with someone who knows rome and the buses very well i would be a little concerned about the distance from the center of rome. but once i took the bus to the metro it was very easy to get into the center of rome. only a few restuarants near the hotel so the selection was limited eat before getting back to the area.

Pros: The hotel was clean,modern, light and airy we were in a basement room with ceiling windows noone could see in but we got daylight there were electric shutters that closed them off at night.
Cons: Could do with tea/coffee making in the rooms.

Pros: It was quiet. it had a gym complex next door which was useful if, like me, you wanted a daily workout. there was no fuss about anything and it felt extremely safe. the rooftop terrace was fab in the evening. most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hotel was just too far out of town - even though there was abus stop opposite the hotel it still took a bus ride and a metro journey to get to the sites of rome - sometimes this could take an hour. the buses and trains were often very crowded indeed - sometimes you simply couldn't get on one - this, of course, is not the hotels fault but the fact that it is so out of town meant that you had to endure long journeys - if you could afford taxis everyday (about 20 euros per journey) then the hotel would be fine.
