 "Some good, some not so good."
This hotel was all right, but did not reach the standards of 4* hotels we stayed in earlier this year. For example, breakfast was not provided, because we did not book our stay there on the website - there was nothing to tell us this before our arrival there. We had to buy our breakfast, so chose to eat it outside the hotel where it was cheaper and we could choose what we wanted. For this sort of hotel, we found the room a bit poky, and this is the first hotel I have stayed in where there was no shower cap provided in the bathroom - I had a problem tying my hair up in the shower the first night. Free coffee was provided, but my partner had to go downstairs to fetch it, as there was no mention anywhere of room service. Overall, I would advise any potential guests who are looking for high quality service and surroundings to go elsewhere! A friend of ours staying in another room found an empty condom packet under her bed, but I guess this has been mentioned in her review!

 "The best thing about this hotel is the staff"
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the staff.very friendly and helpful.also, reception is open 24hrs,and we didn't get a feeling of being not welcome when we were arriving after late nights in city.great location due to the fact the hotel is located really near to tram stop,so you can just go outside and get a tram to city centre,and from central station tram nr.25 will take you back to hotel.hotel is quiet and neat.
Cons: I wouldn't call it negative,but this hotel felt more like a 3 star,if you are looking for more comfort.also,the room we got was under ground level,and we had a little window in the room and could only see the legs of passing by people.

Pros: The staff were friendly, room was clean. handy tram stop outside the entrance.
Cons: For the money all you get is a room. no free tea or coffe facilities, mini bar is not free and seriously overpriced, as was breakfast. in all it was a mistake to stay here, hotel 500 yards away was same price but was far and above the standard offered here.

Cons: [1] according to dutch customs, there is very little light in the room. if one needs to work there, it is very difficult. [2] the bath is in very poor condition: when you shower, the bathroom is flooded with water. the shower head is ridiculously inconvenient. this is the designer's fault. [3] the internet cable connection did not work at all, and was not fixed after my reporting it, and the wireless connection was poor and collapsed periodically, so that a continuous work was not possible. the hotel boasts of its internet but it needs some improvement. [4] i found no way to open the window, or the upper part of the window, to allow more air in the room. in short, the hotel does not justify its very high price, and also seems not to be maintained as before (this is our second visit there).
