sdtaff were very helpful and flexible.
Cons: My main complaint comes from the map used`by the hotel on www.hotelbookers.com and photographs on other sites which make it clear this hotel is facing the beach in cartagena, without the need tlo cross the busy street which runs along the coast. we were bitterly disappointed when the taxi driver dropped us in front of the hotel a full 2 blocks from the coast road.
when i approached the hotel staff that could speak english they claimed they didn't submit the map i showed them on my laptop. they also claimed i was the first person ever to make this compalaint...something i find hard to believe. as a small concession they upgraded me to a superior double with outside window (the standard double rooms have no outside window.) breakfast was adequate, although the coffee left a lot to be desired. to be fair to the hotel and its staff, apart from the initial problem, they were very helpful, and considering the high prices of accomodation in cartagena, this hotel does represent good value for money.
