Hotel Midi Station Brussels  

Good location and price. But that was all. Electric devices were presented at room (frige, TV set, air conditioner), but NONE of them were in order. No pot in the room (problem with boiled water (for tea/cofee)). Not sufficient heater in the room - it was quite cold at room. Staff - kind.

still under development and will easily rival those in the Accor group. The location of the hotel is central and accessible from all directions. Great value for money with respect to service and room amenities.

The whole hotel was really dirty and the heating in the room did not work and at the end they gave us an electric heater. The location is relatively good (near the rail station Gare du Midi), but in a dangerous neighborhood, especially at night. Hotel to be avoided even for one night only.

A decent and convenient place for a single night - very near Brussels Midi, Eurostar etc. If you're planning a longer stay, I'd recommend somewhere nicer.

the hotel is small but clean and reasonable, also very close to gare du midi. the staff is friendly and helps with questions about touring the city

No bar, no mini-bar, no breakfast, no elevator, impossible to use stairs if you have more than 1 suitcase due to the reduced space!

it was very cheap (although it looked like it was on offer at a time of booking) and was 5 min walk from the Midi station, so I should have expected this, but the area was horrible, it really did not feel safe and everyone local I talked about it - suggested me to take a cab, not walk around there on my own and asked if I am sure I will be fine. The reception had a huge crack in the window as if someone had tried to smash or shoot the window, the walls were very thin, so during night it felt like someone will come in the room, the electricity in my room did not work, until the staff member stuck a piece of cardboard between the electricity knobs, most of the light bulbs were missing.On the positive note - the staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the guy who fixed the electricity - really really nice guy, I am sorry he has to work in such a dump.

Pros: Basic room but quite sufficient for 1 night's stay if you want to be close to brussels midi station. the wifi was free and it worked.
Cons: I was actually directed towards a sister hotel, slightly further away due to my check-in time (11pm) which meant wandering around a slightly dodgy area (with a laptop). the receptionist seemed more keen to give me the wifi key than the door key or the card required to make the lights work: i had to ask for both of them! no breakfast and no tea/coffee making facilities or opportunity for refreshments. bedsheet was torn.

Pros: Near to train station
Cons: Hard to locate if you arrive at night as it is not clearly visible.

Pros: Clear, bright and large room for 4 person, 10 mins by walk to the center, 3 mins by walk to the brussels midi train station
Cons: Very noisy at night because of amusement park, hotel is located in arabian district so it feels not safety, drainage in the shower was broken - water flew out from the bathroom to the room

Pros: Clean room and easy access to major attraction
Cons: The hotel was an old builing with no lift for bulky luggage

Pros: Courteous and friendly staff
