Hotel is budget only way to decribe it. Looks nothing like the pics .. In real life it's cheap looking , small shower which was cold in the morning due to other people using throughout hotel, worked fine in evening , bathroom was freezing no heater to put towel on , the kettle wouldn't boil unless you held it whilst it boiled .. Was faulty , the fire alarm went off twice during are stay , no apology or explanation was given for this .Apart from all of the above it was a cheap room for the night had all the basics plus a tv .

Very dated hotel. Perfect location for us arriving at Victoria from Gatwick. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We thought the hotel was very dated and rooms were small for the price we paid, but have heard that is the norm for London. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Myself, mum and Sister's yearly get together. Great greeting, couldnt do enough for you. Lift broke down the day we were leaving, the receptionist carryed our bags down for us. On the down side our room was quite cold. In the breakfast room the toaster was in the wrong place. People cannot get to the fridge or cereal where it was. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. would stay again if visiting Victoria side of London.

perfect location 5 minuts from train and bus station, bus stop number 24 right in front of the hotel. Room nice but very small with a very little and too soft bed, we appreciated the inroom boiler with tea and coffee; staff very nice and breakfast ok.

Lovely hotel,ideally situated for theatre,site seeing etc Would have preferred a room on an upper floor and not the basement, but overall really pleasant,clean accommodation and would stay here again.

Cons: Some occasionally noisy guests , which can be a problem in an older hotel. ear plugs were useful (i'm a light sleeper). still a good value overall.

Pros: Good location close to victoria tube station, acceptable breakfast.
Cons: I had a very small attic. the staircase is very shabby, with dirty carpets, and bad smell everywhere. hotel needs total renovation.

Cons: The receptionist sold us 4 tickets to the big bus tour for 74 pound, even though we showed him a guidebook that told about a familyticket for 66 pounds, he said that he had never heard about it, and that is was cheaper to buy tickets with him, so we did. when we got to the bus, one of the staff asked us, why we didn´t buy the familyticket for 66 pounds?
our room was okay (nice) but it was in the basement, wich we did not know, and that was not very nice. very dark. it would be a good service to let visitors know, that your room may be in the basement.

Pros: The hotel was conveniently close to all of london's hot spots. the staff were kind enough to allow us to store our luggage for the day so we didn't have to carry it around after we'd booked out.
Cons: The bathroom was claustrophobic and almost useless. the cleaning staff hadn't changed the used towels on the second day and i had to go and ask for more. the room didn't feel particularly clean.

Pros: I stayed for one night and i have no complaints about the hotel. the rooms are simple and perhaps a bit small, but then again the hotel is in situated in central london. my room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Pros: The staff behaved gently
Cons: Inittally they put as into a basement room(not written everywhere whenn i made my reservation) and from the wooden window we could hear any wisper of the people out to the road. at 17.45 they started to throw outside of the window bundles with bed linen causing a lot of bangs. after our ccomplaints they took us next day to another room at the groundfloor that obviously was better than the old one but the fan of the ventilation of the bathroom (really tiny) was not working.

Pros: Located within easy walking distance of 2 tube stations.
Cons: The en-suite wet-room shower did not work, the bed room and en-suite were both in a poor state of repair and needed decorating. the beds were uncomfortable and we did not get a good nights sleep on any night of our stay.
