Pros: Berlioz is a good hotel, as advertised. 2 blocks from train station and bus stop. good neighborhood. take #98 or 99 aerobus to/from airport for 4euro/person/journey. 30 min to airport. 8 blocks to beach and old town. room and bathroom were both very clean; plenty of hot water. staff was very friendly and helpful. would consider this location again.
Cons: #4 room had some noises...tv and plumbing sounds from other rooms, the front door opening and closing (room is directly above the lobby). overall, these were small concerns compared to the positive aspects (price/location/staff).

Pros: Very friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. the location of the hotel is also very good for travelling to monaco and cannes by train.
