Hôtel du Panthéon Paris  

I stayed for a business trip and for me the location was optimal - but it is in general great (lots of nice bars abnd restrarants in the area). I asked for a quiet room and was given one in the top floor facing the side street which was indeed very quiet (no noise friom outside). For that reason I could not have a view on the pantheon (like other rooms) but that was very ok for me. The room itself was of course rather small (like typical in Paris) but for me completely sufficient. It was very nicely decorated and I felt quitey cosy from the beginning. The bathroom is also smaller (dont get up from the toilet to fast, you will bang your head against the radiator) but nice and clean, the shower cell was quite big. The bed was very good (on the soft side). There was a nice liitle balcony with a nice view.The only issue could be the thin walls - you can hear a normal conversation from the neighbouring rooms and the sound of the water pipe from te wall right behind the bed (wil l potentially make you dream of waterfalls). My neighhbours were not very lous and I with earplugs I had no problems at all (the floor outside is a carpet wso you dont hear people walking or dragging their suitcases).The attendence and the service is really excellent and very friendly. The w-lan access is for free and quite ok, also in the room.

Location of the Hotel is perfect ideal for the River Seine & Notre Dame and easy to walk to other main attractions. We booked & paid for a superior room, and we were disapointed with the room. The view of the Pantheon was great but the room was very small. On the Fire exit floor plan we could see that our room number 60 was much smaller than the other rooms, when I queried this with reception I was told "no our room was hardly any smaller than the room next door and that the other room was a triple room"I was made to feel I was making a fuss over nothing. However upon returning home the official Pantheon Hotel website shows the room we had under their family room which shows a standard double room which was exactly the same as ours!!! So not a superior room.

Pros: Very close from te rer b but if you have a pram there are no lift and escalator to go down... but by walk you can go to the center (chatelet ) only in 30 mins.

Cons: Broken elevator- had to walk four flights of stairs

Pros: Beautiful room,great location, good sized bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast a bit overpriced.

Pros: Friendly,polite and helpful staff. room small but very comfortable with a view of the pantheon. centrally situated within easy walking distance from the river and public transport.

Pros: The reception staff were friendly, greeting us every day with a lovely smile during our 3 night stay and even surprised us with an upgrade us to an unbelievable and unforgettable room overlooking the pantheon. they also graciously answered questions we had as first time visitors to paris. the hotel is ideally situated close to transport and lovely restaurants and is very quiet in the evenings.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff,fantastic views and a quiet room may justify the premium
Cons: Two twins do not make a queen size bed, the slipping through the middle of the 2 mattresses through the night provided an annonyance especially on a romantic weekend. lack of standard facilties in each room such as tea and coffee or even an iron made it poor value for money for the price in most other cities i could have had an extra few nights with a double bed. in short a great experience was had in paris but unfortunately the room itself didnt come up to scratch.

Pros: The hotel is in a very peaceful location and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: We were warmly welcomed to this charming hotel. my basic french was tolerated by staff members who all spoke beautiful english. we found it easy to use the hotel as a base to visit all of the paris landmarks in two days. we took the eurostar from london to gare du nord & the hotel was a 10min rer train & an easy 5 min walk. shops, cafes, bars, bistros & metro stations are all easily accessible.
Cons: On arrival we found the floor to be wet. staff members were quick to investigate & clean the floor but we found that the bathroom flooded every time the shower was used. the room was teeny tiny but fine for our purposes as we were only there to sleep. on the first night the heating had been put on the wrong setting & we were unbearably hot and unable to sleep. the hotel can be noisy at night.

Pros: The staff was excellent with giving us directions as to where we wanted to go and what to see, good places to eat etc.
Cons: The tub drained very slowly and noisy in the street outside my window

Pros: Staff very friendly, hotel great location. got a back room so not very good view. i e court yard

Pros: The hotel is very centrally located, the staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was very enjoyable.
