 "Holiday"
No comment is good comment. Difficult to walk to hotel with big laggage. Many choose of restaurant nearby. Fair breakfast, you have only 30mins for your breakfast of each room. Poor staff in the breakfast room.

 "Good location - service not so good"
We stayed there for two nights it was not easy to find it as there are multiple svendors infront blocking access to the building and the only visible sign says hotel Giada which is located on the second floor. When we found the right door and buzzer and were let in we were greeted by the receptionist who said that our room will not be ready till 2PM. After we came back around 5PM the same receptionist was talking to someone in the breakfast area and did not acknowledge us for good ten minutes even though she saw us. She finally came and started the rediculous process in intally of filling a lengthy registration process only to walke away without saying much. The other lady came in and finished the registration and showed us to our room. The next day we went down for breakfast only to be chased out by a very rude men who said to come after 8:30 Am even though they had empty tables. When we came back the later on he just ignored us. Our room was not cleaned - bed not made up, garbage not emptied only towels were changed. The location is very nice but everyone working there seems to be doing you a big favor to actually do their job.

 "The room was very clean, modern and spacious"
Pros: The room was very clean, modern and spacious. the bathroom is modern with closed shower, hair dryer and a towel warmer. the room even had a fridge tucked away under the tv. we stayed in december and the room was sufficiently warm. we had a room that faced away from the market - we didn't have a view but it was very quiet. the pictures of the hotel rooms on the site and the description of the facilities are quite accurate. while the hotel shares its breakfast room with hotel giada, the hotel rooms are in a separate secured part of the building. the san lorenzo market is right downstairs and there is a convenience store in the same block.
Cons: The hotel owner was not very friendly.
