While it is a bit remote from the city center, it has good connections with highways and acceptable connections with public transport (metro within 15 minute walk through a park). Not that bad and the area is pretty quiet at night. Free parking lot, try to get that downtown?

The service is fantastic, very kind and helpful staff. The breakfst is a bit expensive. The main disadvantage is the location. It takes about half an hour by undergournd to get to the city .

Staying in a hotel in the center of Amsterdam was out of a question for our family, so we found this hotel, which was 5 minute walk from a metro station. It proved to be very convenient location because of that. 20-minute ride to the city center was much better and cheaper. Parking was free of charge. Very clean hotel, the staff was very friendly as well. If we would visit Amsterdam again, we would stay at this hotel.

clean hotel. At end of train line and 10 to 15 minute walk on rail trail to hotel would probably not stay there again due to location but the price was the best I could find on line when booking. Expensive breakfast but very good in addition to price. No other restaurants around hotel!

AfterI saw the pics of the hotel and booked it I thought it could be a good deal. But now we are very disappointed. At first there were problems at the check-in (did not find the reservation). Then we walked through dirty floors in the halls to our room. In The room there were demaged wall paper and demaged beds. There was no hair dryer in the bath. One towel had a big whole. -> We changed the room. The new room was a little bit better, bat it was not good.Standard of the hotel: max. 1 - 2 starsour result: never again that hotel

Pros: Breakfast selection is good, few staff are friendly,
Cons: I will always remember this experience. internet said, it was 10 mins walk from gasgerplaas to the hotel. however, i think it was almost 30 mins walk, without no signage of direction etc.i have to ask 5-6 people along the way to reach the hotel. to make it worst, i was with 32 kg baggage to pull, almost 20 kg back pack, a baby, and my wife with her back pack.when called the hotel for direction, the direction given like i am not welcome to go there.

Pros: Very helpful staff; comfortable room but would have preferred proper double bed or twin beds that zip together
Cons: Didn't realise there would not be tea and coffee facilities in the room-i had to go to the bar at midnight to get a cup of tea when i really felt like a cup of tea!

Pros: For our touring plans it's position was excellent leaving all destinations easy to get to
the view from the room was beautiful and it was a very good size
the bathroom was spacious
suitable for anyone on the move whether travellers of any age, or business users
we are neither young or elderly!

in common with most other hotels these days (and in the uk)the room was insufficiently lit. the wifi should have been free somewhere in the hotel
