Hotel Splendid Tour Eiffel Paris  

A very well appointed location.Stayed in a suite, the view was amazing, room was however far from a 'suite', the walls were marked, curtains had stains, overall it felt very tired, in need of some upkeep. You pay for the view. Staff friendly.

This hotel is perfectly positioned for a stay in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower from the room! The service was good and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect.A great stay in a great city.

We have stayed in this hotel a few times, the service and staff are excellant and always very helpful. However I would say this time the rooms are getting a bit tired and could do with a bit of freshing up however this did not detract from the hotel being very good.I would receommend this hotel to stay it is very good location

On arrival the gentleman at the desk was extremely courteous, as was the case with every member of staff from reception to housekeeping throughout our 3 nights in the hotel.spotless roomsgreat location

Being able to stay at this hotel made our anniversary so special. It was the best location for viewing the Eiffel Tower. Our stay there was the best and we will be back. We love Paris easy on and off bus right ouside on the street.

I enjoyed to stay in this Hotel. Few words about hotel: hotel has 3 stars, building is old rooms are small, but view is worth every peny and all disatvantiges goes away. I've got everything like from 3 star hotel, service and cleaness was excellent.

At first (digital and online) sight such a romantic place to be, but according to the small size and low quality of the room and the quality of the breakfast, prices are overrated! You have to pay at least 120 euro for a night p.p. and 12 euro a person for breakfast.

Its a very good hotel i would say. The staffs are friendly enough to help u with everything that you need to know in Paris. You can find Carrefour just across a street which open till late night, 11.45pm. Next to Carrefour is the "Ecole militaire" Metro station. Lots of restaurants nearby. . Walking distance to Eiffel Tower also, approximately 5-10mins (slow walk).

verry small rooms, no room service, if you buying tea, you must bring it by your self to your room, breakfast is verry expensive, shower in a room was broken,room clewaner forgot to lock our room after she fineshed to cleen it, we were lucky and nothing was stolen from unlocked room..not worth those money we were paying for it:(

First and foremost, let me say that I cannot express enough how lovely our stay at the hotel was. I brought my mother to Paris; partially for her birthday and partially because she had always wanted to go. See has a love affair with the Eiffel Tower, which was one of things that led me to book this hotel. The Eiffel Tower is about 10-12 minutes’ walk from the hotel. We were able to see it from our room. It is also close to the Musee de Armee and Napoleon's Tomb. There is access to the Metro less than 5 minutes’ walk and a taxi queue across the street.This hotel lobby is clean and bright. When you enter the hotel, there is always someone at the reception desk - day or night. I really like the fact that there is someone on the premises 24/7. And they are all charming! The staff were incredibly helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations and tips for traveling around the city and things to do. I spent a fair bit of time conversing with them and asking a lot of questions. They were remarkably helpful - whether it was helping us make dinner reservations or giving directions to a shop. The people really make this place special! There is also a nice little bar right off of the reception area to have a nightcap before bed.There is an elevator, which is a huge plus when travelling with luggage. When you exit the elevator, you must turn the light on in the hallway for yourself. In an effort to save energy, they are on timers. Our room was a decent size for a Parisian hotel room. Not large by any standards, but clean and adequate for our purposes. We had two twin beds and a bathroom. I was very pleased at the size of the bathroom and shower. Very comfortable. And may I say again - CLEAN! My only issue with our room was that they TV only got CNN, MSNBC and BBC in English. I would have liked at least one channel with something entertaining to watch in English at bedtime. C'est la vie! The area around the hotel is very clean and full of places to eat and drink. There are many markets within walking distance that sell fresh fruit and plenty of bakeries and cafes for your coffee and pastry. Felt very safe walking in the area and night.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I look forward to staying here again when I visit Paris.

Excellent location. Staff helpful and friendly. Though traffic busy, room on 5th floor was quiet, so slept well. Good views. We had a superior double room, which was reasonably spacious. Breakfast offered a reasonable choice but seemed quite expensive at 12 euros. We would definitely return.Horne, Edinburgh

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. was given a perfect room with a great view and a balcony - exactly what i had asked for. good location. rooms quite small but nice.
Cons: Price for wireless internet access and a continental breakfast was very high. guests are charged to use the safe. because of these prices, we did not make use of any of these facilities whereas we might have if they had been cheaper.

Cons: - on the basis of the room alone, it's over-priced. you are paying for the view of the eiffel tower so if you don't get a great view, you would be overpaying for a fairly standard hotel room. we did get a great view though so it's worth making sure of this in advance via e-mail and room selection (we had room 506).

Pros: Location was excellent with a view from our junior suite. staff very friendly and available to assist 24 hours if needed. breakfast was included each morning.
Cons: Not informed that the hallway lights are on energy saving and needed to switch on as you walked along the hallway. hall went dark and we had no knowledge of where the light switches were so had to take the stairs in darkness back down to reception..... who then advised about the power saving. reception manned 24 hours a day - but on early check out discovered night manager asleep on couch in lobby...had to wake him to check out of hotel. breakfast was a little limited with choice.

Pros: Great location...we did indeed have a view from our hotel window.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Cons: Hairdryer is a bit out-dated, could do with a radio or ipod dock
