Fleur de Lis Rome  

On arriving at the given address for the B& B we thought we may have the wrong place at it was not written on the door buzzer. In face the B&B is also called TWICE which is written on the first internal door which is very confusing but a kindly cafe owner assisted us and called the owner Antonio. Antonio is very helpful and a good host. Our room was lovely - comfortable bed and plenty of space and very clean Unfortunatly the bath leaked all the time we were there so always lots of water on the flooor but he did call a plumber - just never arrived before we left. Location is fantastic and you could not get better - walking 5-10 mins to St Peter's Square and the tour buses for the city. Metro 2 min walk and connects you all over the city. The only thing that would improve this B&B is a more varied and substantial breakfast. which as present is quite poor.

Pros: Everything was great - staff, room, breakfast, location. had an amazing time.
Cons: Quite a lot of noise from the road outside

Cons: American breakfast - much too sweet. we could have done with alternative to sugared croissants etc. private bathroom was across the corridor i.e. not en-suite.

Pros: We stayed in the fleur de lis for three nights and found it to be extremely clean, modern, comfortable, very well located - just a 2 minute walk from the metro and surrounded by shops and restaurants. the owner, nadia, was so lovely. she helped us to book tickets for the tourist attractions, told us all the best places to go and even arranged alternative accommodation for us when we got stuck in rome for an extra 4 days because of the ash cloud. she gave us her mobile number to ring at any time if we needed anything. rome was a beautiful city with so much to see. one of our favourite places wad called villa borghese, it was like new york's centre park, with bikes for hire and boats to use on a gorgeous lake, as well as lots of nice scenery and art work to look at. i would definitely recommend the fleur de lis! :)
Cons: Don't be put off by the exterior of the building, which looks quite old. a lot of the central b&bs look like this. but inside it is lovely, modern and clean.

Pros: A very small but well run b&b. good information an arrival, then you had to take care of yourself since there was no english speaking staff except for check-in and check-out. perfect location, just around the corner of the vatican city.

Pros: Excellent accmodation. very hospitable and helpful. overall a very good experience.

Pros: Fantastic location, rooms very clean and although the bathrooms weren't in the room we didn't find this a problem. nadia is fantastic and very helpful.

Cons: Bathrooms (private) separate from bedrooms.

Pros: The location was great, on step away from vatican and close to shopping street.
hotel owner was helpful and nice, breakfast was good
Cons: The breakfast is served from 8 30 and they are not very punctual, so if you want to leave the hotel early you will be constrained.
the hotel is empty most of the time, the owner only turns up if someone new is checking in or leaving.

Pros: We did not stay at fleur de lis but nearby b&b owned by hotel. very helpful, friendly owner and staff. good quality breakfast. tea making facilities

Cons: The wifi connection was not that great.

Pros: Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. antonio is a sweetheart and nadia is lovely. very helpful both. just 10 minutes walk from the vatican city. metro station is nearby.good breakfast and very clean and spacious rooms.
Cons: Although i had a very nice private bathroom but it was located outside the room. difficult to find the hotel as there is no signboard (it is on the first floor)
