We found the room & Toilet extremely small, but it was good as a convenient stop very near metro & buses. Very clean & Tidy & reception desk staff were very friendly. Value for money I would say average.

Very good location,close to underground about 2-3 minutes by walk,very good connection to the centre Paris. Our room was small but cozy,very comfortable bed and pillows. Very warm in the room,window not on the street so it was quite.sometimes not network in the room,also not always Internet in the room and every time when we wanted use the Internet we had to type a special number(log in)....very good breakfast,fresh rolls. Nice,polite and English speaking staff.the area is not particularly nice at night.the cost of parking for 2 nights £35. Not good restaurant around the hotel, never go to kebab shop near hotel, the food was disgusting and very expensive, not worth at all, and double prices for tourists...

Room are big and clean, I was lucky to have a room with window facing the courtyeard, so even though the view is not great it was very calm & perfect for sleeping. The service was ok for Paris, there were a few problems with our booking but the hotel apologize for those and did everything to correct them

We have found a very good, clean, friendly staff, good price and good location,I have only one complaint, the first day I was held credit card 125 euros, the day 05-09, paid the day after 7-09, I was left with the balance to today rettenido 21.09. if the bill is paid, can not hold my money 15 days, must release the withheld amount. Hope you inform the hotel and express my complaint

Hotel was in an area of Paris unlike the rest of the city. It was in a very Ethnic/Indian neighborhood. Very loud, crowded, and dirty streets.

First, custumor desk person is very rude and impolite. the room was dark , dirty and beds are like trumpling. No television and phone servcies, even the pillow cases were wet. Floor was so dusty, dark and smelly corridoor to go to the room. I never stay such hotel before in my other holidays.

The room was basic, but very clean and the shower worked well; plenty of hot water. Our neighbours were a family who knocked on each other's doors quite a lot - this sound carried through, but we couldn't hear anything from the other bedrooms themselves. The hotel is in two nearby, but separate, buildings and we were in the one that did not have breakfast or any hot drinks facility - though they are redoing this building at the moment, so that may change. The lift only worked to the 5th floor, so we had to use stairs to the 6th - not a problem for us and it may well be that the hotel chose to put physically able guests in these rooms. The hotel is very well situated for Gare Du Nord. The service was always friendly. The reception staff speak excellent English, and we could make ourselves understood with the catering staff through a mixture of schoolgirl French and pointing!

This hotel is wrongly advertised as a 3 star hotel. The room and bathroom were tiny, the shower leaked, tiles hanging off the wall in the bathroom, dirty towels on arrival, the wifi only works in the lobby area and it is severely overpriced. The only plus points are that it is in a fairly accessible area for transport links and the bed was comfortable.

This hotel is a short walk to gare du nord station where you can easily paris. The hotel was clean & tidy and the staff were friendly. Overall the hotel was perfect for our short stay in paris.

The Hotel is very good located. Good access to all transport facilities. The room are small but well serviced and clean. The Breakfast is very good and plenty to choose from.

I dont recommend it! It is very ugly and caught far from the centerthe very small and dirty room, staff very arrogant, is in a neighborhood of Indians

I've stayed in a few different places in Paris and I would have to say that Faubourg is pretty average. However, the hotel does seem to have a very sexy website and whoever took the photos for it definitely needs a large christmas bonus! There is a dramatic illusion of space and light in these photo's and the hotel seems to be all shiny and new. In reality it is not too spacious and a little bit dull inside. The lift to get upstairs is a box big enough for just 2 people and a suitcase (..at a push!). And the ensuite bathrooms aren't too much bigger than that!But this shouldn't put you off completely as we (3 of us) managed to get a triple room for 1 night at just over 70Euros and this worked out at roughly £23.50 each. This was brilliant value as many hostels in the city are just as expensive per person (if not more expensive). The price we paid also included the breakfast, which was a typical continental breakfast of breads and croissants etc. And by the way the croissants were really really good! I also liked the breakfast room, which was downstairs in a cool little cellar space :-)We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable and we had no issues with cleanliness. There were only 2 plugs in the room, and one of these was being used for the TV.Location-wise it is no more than a 10min walk to gare du nord which is a great convenience since this is a major and well-connected station. La Chapelle metro station is even closer (less than 2mins from the hotel). The street that the hotel is on is a little dingy and full of indian places and grocery stores etc. Overall I'd say this was a generic 3-star-standard hotel. But I would definitely recommend it to anyone who values budget price and good location over luxury. Since these are the things that I value the most, I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location. Just a minute walk from the nearest metro station and 5 min walk from Eurostar station.Friendly staff. Nice accommodation. Good breakfast. Good value for money. Enjoyed the stay very much with my friends.

Pros: The staf were friendly and the room was just right for what we needed it for, the bathroom was small but the shower was great. close to gare du nord so perfect for transport links
Cons: Unfortunately we were in 216 which was a bit further away from reception than we would have liked we were placed on the 4th floor in 344, the lift smelt really bad and was very small so much so that the 3 of us had to squash in with our suitcases, also the bathroom smelt of drains.

Pros: None whatsoever......only only plus point was when we complained about the rooms we were given these were changed at no extra cost.
Cons: The pictures of the hotel rooms on the internet are diffferent to the ones you get. rooms were tiny, bathooms a joke, filthy (mouse in the breakfast room!).

Pros: Nice reception
Cons: Bad smell of humidity in the room - i informed the reception about that, poor paper-like breakfast, though the woman serving the breakfast was very very nice

Pros: Very pleasant staff and nice quaint feel about the premises.
Cons: Extremely cramped. for the cheap price i only expected b&b, and that was fine, but there was barely room to move in the room.
