Pros: The hotel was clean, quite, and has everything i needed.
Cons: Yes, this big hotel running by only couple people, i had a problem with my key and i wait for 40 minute until someone came and helped. i left a notice in the reception about a problem in the bath and it never fixed.

"Front desk employees were so helpful in pointing out public transportation..."

Pros: Front desk employees were so helpful in pointing out public transportation options, which were easy to follow. they also kindly let me check in for our flights at the front desk. it was very nice having the free shuttle to the airport and options to take same into barcelona's business district. it was a real plus to have the shopping mall next door so we could use the atm and purchase snacks and beverages. very modern facilities with spacious rooms and bathrooms.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room and a reliable way to obtain closed captioning in english on the tv programs.

"We did not have any"

Pros: We did not have any. except cleanliness we were very disappointed.
Cons: When i made the hotel reservation i requested a shuttle pick up from the airport and an early shuttle to the airport the next day. when we were picked up at the airport the shuttle driver was rude and not helpful with information. we had a 30 minute ride to a hotel that supposed to be 1 mile from the airport. when we checked into the hotel and asked for a morning shuttle we were told the time we requested was filled and we would have to take a shuttle an hour earlier. we did not arrive to the hotel until after 10pm and we had to leave by 6am because of the shuttle. no where were we given info about making a shuttle reservation ahead of our arrival, infact i had made the request on our reservation. when we went into our room we could not get the lights turned on. the person at the front desk did not tell us to put our room key in a slot by the door to turn the lights on. there was no air conditioning and the room was very warm. we had to sleep with the windows open. we were to tired to go back to the front desk.

Pros: This hotel's exterior does not do it justice because its interior is very modern and spotlessly clean. we are from the u.s. and have stayed here on two occasions, and each time, the staff have been very friendly and welcoming. they also speak english very well which is a plus when you don't speak much spanish.
Cons: On warmer days, before the air conditioning units are turned on, the rooms get warm and you have to open the window for circulation. because the hotel is situated in the middle of a retail area, the outside noise is factor.

"Rooms were clean"

Pros: Rooms were clean. handy to airport
Cons: We could not phone from airport for the shuttle and ended up taking cab and got ripped off. food, especially breakfast was bad, eggs runny, only fruit and danish were good and for 11.00 euros not worth it and food service was bad, staff not friendly. only one of the staff was friendly and helpful, that was the desk clerk luciano. we were first to arrive of our group and when the rest arrived were told we had not checked in. no place around there to eat breakfast and very limited for other meals. gentleman on spa staff was rude. not a good place to stay unless traveling on business.

Pros: Clean and inoffensive. adequate as a one-night stopover hotel between flights, but no other redeeming features.
Cons: Shuttle transfer spent longer making mutliple laps of airport terminals than it took to get to the hotel once we finally left. staff at reception were overwhelmed and took quite a while to process the three guests arriving on same shuttle.
