Pros: Well located near the beautiful town of malcesine
Cons: We found the owner rude and unfriendly. the rooms were badly decorated and poorly equipped. the breakfast lacked choice. we booked a double room but had twin beds and were told that no italian hotels have double beds. we had to pay on arrival which was not surprising as we might otherwise have left!

the single room which i stayed in had a balcony which meant i could wind down in the afternoon sunshine in my own room.on the wet afternoon i was able to return to the privacy of my own room to dry-off and shower.essentially you could come and go as you pleased provided the room had been made-up in the morning
Cons: The television channels were mostly german, which was not surprising given that it was run by a wonderful german couple. it would however have been nice to at least have the choice of watching the bbc world service to catch up on the home news.
