A good international hotel with a beautiful entrance, nice breakfast and a lot of accommodations (which are not included in the price). The rooms are very simple and don't have a double bed. It is not central located, but has a good bus / metro connection.

Pros: It was nice to be able to smoke in the room i guess. good services in neighbouring hotel.
Cons: Ceiling paper fell down all over the bathroom and the hotel staff simply said "thank you for your message". gloomy feel to the whole place... felt like a converted asylum. parking costs.

Pros: The outside of the hotel is a little misleading because once you are inside the foyer/reception area is of 5* quality. the rooms were well proportioned and the whole stay enjoyable.
Cons: The pillows were a little flat and it would have been better if there was toast/toast making facitities at breakfast, both very very minor negatives.

Cons: The night staff especially were awful and completly unhelpful. the directions from the tube should have stated what bus needed to be taken from what station. if it weren't for the help of some locals we would have been left in a bad area very late at night. also on the last night we stayed we got surrounded by a very large noisey group and when we asked reception to ask them to be quiet they seemed to make friends with them and it took quite a while into the wee hours of the morning for the noise to stop. very far from the centre of prague, would not recommend.

Pros: A beautiful hotel which far exceeded our expectations with facilities way beyond its 2 star rating
Cons: Food and service was terrible i expect bad food in prague but staff who try to be helpful get rewarded and 20mins to city?

Pros: "garni" is an extension of the main top hotel prague with less thrills, i.e. no tv, radio, or phone. but i did not need those items. however, breakfast is in the main higher end top hotel next door, as well as access to all the facilities, such as massage, gym, and restaurants. good access to other facilities at good value.
