The hotel is located app 5-10 minutes walk from the lift area. The rooms are a bit old but clean. The service is very friendly and the provide you with a voucher givibg 10% discount in one of the skishops.

Pros: Although the hotel is not near the ski lift, but they provide ski deposit that located next to the lift + ski pass cashier. so every morning we just walk to the ski rental n in the afternoon we just put back the skis at the rental. the walk is really nice, is a good start for some walking b4 ski, and a great cool down after ski too. if you don't like to walk, there's a shuttle bus infront of the hotel, pay euro5 and you can have unlimited ride for the whole week. the hotel owner n staff is friendly too, for sure our next trip to sestriere will stay here again. highly recommend.
