 "excellent service and great rooms"
Reception and concierge are genuinely helpful and pleasant. Even the cleaning staff say hello with a smile. You feel like a guest here where other hotels can make you feel like an inconvenience. For business travel, wired and wireless internet in the rooms and a free leave your luggage facility makes a huge difference for a productive stay. Rooms are a decent size, beds comfortable, heating and cooling are adjustable, bathrooms clean. Pay a little more for a club room if you want a fridge and microwave and nice touches like fruit. You'll also get a small safe for valuables though the hotel feels entirely safe anyway. Location is good, in the heart of Paddington's hotel district, ten mins walk from the station and also from Lancaster Gate tube on the Central line which is the quickest route into town and into the City. A night bus from the West End stops almost outside, if you want to stay out after midnight when the tubes close.

 "Value and comfort... always with a smile."
I stayed for eight nights. The transport into central London and to & from the airport was very easy. The staff are all too willing to help with any problems incurred. The only downfall was an unreliable internet (wi-fi) service and TV service at times. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Lovely well maintained rooms. very clean and fresh.
Cons: Room very compact, not much space. view from the window was a wall. room was next to lift so could be quite noise at times.

Cons: On arrival at the hotel reception we have waited for more than 20minutes only to be informed in unpleasant way that hotel is overbooked and we need to be transfered to a sister hotel we have not expected to encounter a such problem in a 4 star hotel, unacceptable!

Pros: Excellent breakfast (eventually, see below)
Cons: We had a club double room but had to ask for the fruit basket to be replenished and for two mornings running i was told we were not entitled to breakfast; i had to sort it out with reception both times. hotel needs to make sure it shows the correct details on it's systems.

Cons: The quality of breakfast is substandard compared with the price. a lot more choice in the food offered should be provided for the price.

only minutes walks to paddinton station.and hyde park. free computer use in lobby was a nice touch, and the only hotel of 5 others that we stay in london and europe. we will stay in this hotel again.
Cons: The elevator was out of order 2 days after we arrive and we have to use the stair to the their floor , very inconvient.
