"Very good Hotel for City trip"

Very nice clean rooms with lots of space and a good bed.Breakfast was OK. Service from the desk was friendly en correct.Free use of computers in the lobby. We have a pleasant stay and would come back when we return to Prague.

"Great stay"

The hotel is well located and sufficiently close to the Metro station. The room provided was very comfortable and very clean. The linen provided in the room were spotlessly clean. The toiletries provided were quite basic and could have been better. The breakfast spread was quite good. The night duty front office man at the time of our arrival was not too helpful and very slow, we had to really push hard for basic information. We had to wait for a long time for him to complete the formalities. However the day time front office man was very helpful, he went out of his way to respond to our queries and to guide us, to make our stay really enjoyable. It is certainly good value for money.Lalit

Great hotel to see the sights of Prague. Pick up from the airport a bonus . Return tothe airport easy and cheap only one pound for metro and bus. Buy 32K ticket.....

"Hotel Galileo"

My husband and i were both pleasantly suprised with this hotel. Very clean room with a big bathroom and huge wardrobes in a seperate area. The staff were polite, helpfull but not over friendly ( a traite we found with the locals in general). The breakfast was very dissapointing acustommed as we are to the buffet breakfasts in 4 star hotels here on the Costa del Sol where we live but on the other hand it was more than adequate. The location is fantastic a 10 minute stroll to St.Wenslaslas Square and another1 0 minutes and you are in the centre if you dont want to walk the trams are just round the corn er. We would use the same hotel if we return to Prague.

"REview hotel galileao"

The hotelroom was modern, clean, nice and quietthere was no information about the hotel in the room and we did not get one either. The number of tv stations was limited. The reception was generally helpfull but when the cleaner forgot to replace shampoo ans soap we could not get one in the evening.The breakfast was good but limited in choices.

"Great hotel"

We had such a great time in this hotel, it is very clean and the staff is very nice and helpfull!! Breakfast is good and with a very nice view of Praque! If you want to go to Praque this is the best place to stay!!!

Pros: Breakfast was great! good variety of food! staff was friendly and helpful, especially helped with questions about tourist attractions.
Cons: The shampoo didn't fare well with my hair, and initially they only gave us one pillow even though the room was for two people. no phone in the room so you have to walk to front desk for any questions. parking in a garage was a little ways away.

Pros: This hotel has a very welcoming feel, the reception staff were really friendly and helpful, especially jacob. the rooms are very nice and comfortable with good facilities. the hotel is in a very good location, it's possible to walk to wenceles square and then on from there to the old town square reasonably easily but there is also a metro station very close and then it is really quick to get to the centre and up to the palace. around the hotel itself there are some places to eat and some bars which is very convenient. we went to some on a friday night and they were very lively. the hotel is great value for money too. we did hear that they are extending it and it will be much bigger and with a nice bar (the current one is rather small but that didn't matter to us as we were out) and i am not sure how this will change the hotel, hopefully it will still retain the friendly vibe.

Pros: The galileo was a pleasant place to stay. the center was easily accessible and i enjoyed the location. several cafes and restaurants were nearby. the room was clean and the fron desk staff were accomodating and courteous. i would recommend it.
Cons: I thought the price was a little on the high side.

"Lovely rooms, very clean"

Pros: Lovely rooms, very clean. staff very helpful when we needed to find a hospital. also fixed stuck window for our return to the hotel later that day.
Cons: Confusion over transfer from hotel , offer free service but i ended up paying for taxi - need to make it a bit clearer what cost is if you are transferring by taxi.

Pros: The hotel is great! we got there late; around 11 pm. the receptionist was very nice. the hotel staff in general was very nice and helpful. the room is amazing! it's like an apartment room - so spacious. it's very clean. it has all the amenities you could need. the hotel is in a fantastic location as it is really close to the metro. it only takes two metro stops to get to old town square. plus, the breakfast is really good. overall, a great value for your money. i definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons: If you wanted to go into town in the evenings it a long walk unless you know how to use tram service. however there are plenty of restuarants and pubs around hotel they are not just in town thats all.

Pros: The breakfast was fantastic for a good start to the day. the woman on reception when we checked in was very helpful and gave us some good information and tips. our room was spacious and clean and very comfortable.
Cons: The hotel is a bit off the main drag but if you dont mind a 5 minute walk to a metro or a short walk from the tram then its not too much of a problem.

Very good Hotel for City trip

Hotel Galileo Prague is a design hotel situated in Prague’s historical central quarter 'Vinohrady', known for its unlimited number of bars and restaurants.
