The rooms are very small and not really clean. We did not have an internet connection or only for a few secounds. You need to open the door or even go down into the lobby. The staff was friendly and nice. We did not have breakfast so we can not judge the food.

it is very nice hotel to stay in pairs. room is a little bit small but it is enough for two people. this hotel is near station, shop, restaurants so do not need to worry there are no place to eat. anywhere it is very nice

Very pleasant service. Comfortable rooms (bath included) with a nice modern decoration. "Republique" subway station (connected to 5 subway lines) at three minutes (literally) walking.Best: location, cleanliness and service.Least: little uncomfortable bed.

Hotel was located 2 min away from metro station Place de Republique ( huge one with many metro connections to whole Paris), Overall hotel was very clean nice and renovated with paintigs of bands or famous movies over the walls so i will suggest this looking more to younger generation. Elevator was super tiny( like 40x 100cm-im not joking u cant squeeze more than one american there or two europeans without bags) i was staying there for 7 nights and my room was on 4th floor so tbh i was using stairs 80percent of the time. View from the window was straight to another building across the small street and not once after shower i saw someone looking and me only in towel :D. But thats how Paris is. As i was there on business trip i was leaving room everyday at 8am and everytime when i came back after 6pm room was cleaned, towels were always new same as little soaps in bathroom. Oh btw breakfast was charged extra 8Euro per person per day. So overall compared to other hotels this one is nice, clean and with good location and connection to Paris metro. Hope u will enjoy it same as i did.

Pros: You really need to have a sense of humor to appreciate hotel republique, but overall it was fine for a couple nights.
Cons: Though there was a no smoking sign on the door, and we'd requested a no smoking room, the room still smelled like cigarettes.

Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms were small but clean and the double glazed windows were a blessing in this busy city. the location is good, since it is located in a small side street around the corner from the place de la republique. gare du nord and de l'est are an easy 20 min walk away. we would definitely come back there!

Pros: We were happy with the hotels location and the friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff.
Cons: We arrived early and weed given keys to a room which had been vacated but not cleaned. wevleft our key and wentbout for a couple of hours. the room had still not been cleaned on our return. we were given another room. but whilst waiting we had coffee which was charged to our bill it would have been better had the coffee have been free.

Pros: Great staff and location.room was clean and tidy.
Cons: Our room seemed to be in the vicinity of a lot of the other rooms plumbing as we constantly heard water running through pipes during the night.the "audrey hepburn" room was a lot smaller then we anticipated.we had a 10 month old and could just fit a small cot at the bottom of our bed.for eur 90 per night we expected a little bit more however paris is expensive city to stay in so not too put out.the staff were very nice.even though the lift is probably th smallest in the world we made do even though we had a pram!quite funny really.
