The location of the hotel is OK. The room was as we had expected. The breakfast was fresh and vary tasty.

 "small comfortable hotel"
a small comfotable hotel with good transport links to other areas of the city centre. we booked a double and two twin rooms for the kids and they were fine from a European viewpoint although I know from experience that visitors from the US would find them small by their standards. place wouldn't be bad for short business trips either.

Good location the only bad thing was there never ask us when we check in if we want a smoking or non smoking room and we both are non smokers so they give us a smoking room, that the only negative thing to say about the hotel that we have to go to the reception asking for non smoking

It is a medium hotel, in a nice part of Barcelona. We went during Easter, so maybe a reason for the cost. Average room and hotel facilities, a bit old. The cost of the hotel is a bit expensive (you can find 5 star hotels not in the center at the same cost). Bit dissapointing.

Pros: The rooms were clean and tidy
Cons: The staff were very poor and were not willing to help with any of our requests. on one occasion i asked if i could borrow an iron for a shirt but they stated that the cleaning room was closed. i asked could i pay for the maid to do it and was again declined. as a regular traveller i feel that a laundry service is standard and was dismayed to find that they did help me.
