Good location, friendly reception staff, tasty breakfast. Room wasn't clean as I expected but it's a good accomodaton for people who want to discover the beauty of Barcelona.

Hotel was easy to find and was well-positioned near tube station. Room was quite big with very old small TV (no remote) and limited stations. Beds were basic but comfortable. Bathroom was cramped and decor was shabby with cracked tiles (shower head seemingly staying on wall by will power alone). No bath mat made floor very slippery when exiting shower. Safe was non-functioning. Noise-proofing to main street was of limited effectiveness. Basic continental breakfast (with no croissants!) Internet connection in lobby was very slow. We didn't expect luxury and didn't get it.

Pros: Staff very eager to help, good location for all routes around city.
Cons: Some maintenance in rooms was poor!! shower curtains hanging off ceilings, handles on doors coming off, no spare pillows in rooms.

Cons: The tv in our room was not working and after repeated requests to fix or change rooms finally after 2 days with problem the room was changed. we waited on both days for someone to fix it, per staff the person would come and never did, we wasted valuable vacation time waiting in room for service man. then i had asked to speak with manager and was told he wasn't there. i was given a general email box for the hotel supposedly as managers email to express my complaint since he was unavailable, and i sent email with no response what so ever. not happy with the way hotel handles issues and no manager ever on duty to talk with to resolve.
