 "Facilities and staff good but noisy room"
Positives - friendly and helpful staff, convenient for metro, good local restaurant, bedroom and bathroom roomy and good facilities.Negative - We had room 103 which suffered from traffic noise. Rooms on upper floors may be better.

 "5 STAR FANTASTIC"
Brilliant hotel, staff second to none. Stayed for 5 nights 29 Nov to 4 Dec in room 301. Spotlessly clean,bedsheets changed every day, buffet breakfast superb. 1minute walk away from metro station and 2/3 minutes away from Camp Nou where my son and I took in a game, while wife shopped locally and spent time talking to staff.2 minutes to great shopping area, restaurants and pubs, 15 minute walk away from some great visitor attractions MNAC and Magic Fountain to name but two, City centre and Sagrada Familia reached by metro in 15 minutes.Lot of information supplied but this is all about rating the hotel...well it was 5 star superb made great by the staff,especially the reception staff who so obviously love their job .

 "stop over before cruise"
the hotel was located further away from the city centre than we thought but be caught the hop on of bus just around the corner, next to Barcelona football stadium.plenty of food outlets nearby, the breakfast in the hotel was good value.the staff were very helpfull.

 "It's a nice hotel"
Took my partner here for his birthday, it's a very modern hotel with nice, helpful staff. It's in an ok location but had to get a taxi to get to the main things (eg la Rambla or Sagrada Família) which cost quite a lot back and forth everyday. The main downside to the hotel is that our room did not have a balcony which annoyed me as I like to sit on the balcony. There are a few rooms at the front of the hotel that do have balconys, it's just luck of the draw I guess. Also there are lots and lots of cafés around but not many restaurants to eat out at night which is poor. Afraid to say I wouldn't stay here again.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and we were able to check in earlier than stated as we arrived early and were therefore able to do more with our time there. i requested a room that overlooked the nou camp and that is exactly what i got. also due to the general strike in spain we had to change the date of our stay which was done with no problems and at no extra cost.

Pros: Staff friendly. breakfast good.
Cons: The room i was given was a disability adapted room with a low shower which you had to crouch under to use. no other rooms were available to swap. air-conditioning worked intermittently the first day then stopped working altogether. when staff advised they said they knew there was a problem and it would be rectified - not for my room though.

Pros: The hotel was above my expectations. location was wonderful as it was really very close to the metro station. even otherwise it was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

 "Friendly staff"
Pros: Friendly staff. free wifi (main reason we stayed there). good breakfast included.
Cons: They had switched the airconditioning on to warming (as opposed to cooling) but the weather had improved, so had to cool down the room by opening the window which let in a lot of noise.
